Uncle Milton 'Mars In My Room'

Uncle Milton’s ’Mars in my room’ is a beautiful night light. It is replica of Mars, although much smaller and glows a nice red colour. It has 4 little pin prick of lights where the Mars Rover has landed. It is not as bright as other Uncle Milton products, but this creates a soft light perfect for bedtime. It turns itself off after half an hour, which is great as it is battery operated, so the batteries last a long time. If the light is still needed after the allotted time, then it can be switched back on using the remote. My child really likes the Mars in my room, as it is soothing and not too bright, perfect for bedtimes

Really great product for kids interested in space. We have the Moon In My Room also and they are quite different products. The Mars light is more like a warm glow on the wall which is really nice to look at but a bit dim to see by. The Moon is very bright in comparison and works better as a night light.

Unless your child is a little space head I wouldn't bother with this product its not as well made as moon in my room and is nowhere near as bright. The best thing about it is the rover info cards. The little dots arent labeled on the planet so once they lose these cards there's nothing to tell you which is which landing site.

Its came in good time but not that bright and only stays on for 30 min before turning off

I decided to do a planet theme in our playroom and I saw this at Toys R Us and immediately checked on Amazon. Of course, the price was much cheaper on Amazon, so here I am!I have to say I really love Uncle Milton products. I've bought about every planet item they make and they are all great, this is no exception! This is probably the least expensive of the planets and there's a reason why: It only just lights up. With a lot of Uncle Milton planets, they have various functions, but this one is just a standard on and off.It installed quick with the little sticky back they give you, and it's held up great even though it's been a couple months. It hasn't budged! The detail is really great too, all the little craters and colors. I really like the fact that the remote control has a red button. It helps easily distinguish which remote is for which planet since Mars is the only one that has a big red button.This is a super cute addition to the kids playroom! Totally recommend!

Mars is now situated on my 6 year old grandson's wall beside his moon and surrounded by countless glow-in-the-dark stars and planets. He's a very happy junior astronomer!

Fantastic!! Not too bright and timer works great for a night light.

This is surprisingly cooler than I thought it was going to be. The detail on the face of it is really great and from across the room you can still make out the details. The little fact cards that come with it are kinda lame but I wasn't expecting too much with those. The glow it puts off is surprisingly bright and you can make out the little pinpoints for where all the landings have been. The labels for them are very small and you can only see them up close. I suspect that if they were big it would be too jarring against the Mars. Probably going to be a battery drain. Very happy with this purchase!

Bought this as a gift for a 6 year old. The first one I purchased wouldn’t work so Amazon refunded my purchase and I bought a second one. The second one works great and he loves it! Four stars only because the first one was broken and it was a bit of a hassle to get a refund because I did my Christmas shopping early and it was past the 90 days Amazon allows for refunds/exchanges.
