Goody makes great, timeless, products - as an old lady now, who used to remember my grandmother wearing these in her hair, all the time, I can say that when I first began using them, I thought, "Here I go, one more thing to remind me I'm getting way old.....what's next, wearing a housecoat? I remember my grandmother, when I was a child, which was well over 60 years ago, wearing these little combs on the side of her hair, in the days when women's "jobs" were all about taking care of your husband/kids/home, and her hair was a beautiful silvery bun....with "Goody combs" on the sides.I have long hair, and bangs (holding onto my youth, even if it's pretend, haha).....and when my bangs get all crooked, or don't lay straight - one of these little combs, if you put a comb in them for only about 10 minutes, straightens your bangs, who knew? If I work in the yard, and stray hairs come out of your ponytail - no matter WHAT you are doing, these little combs hold stray hairs - with GREAT HOLD - they don't slip out, they don't pull your hair as a barrette might, they stay where you put them.My grandmother, if still living today, would be in her 100's - but I remember these little combs in her silver hair, as a child - and like everything else in Life that I used to think was "old lady territory", that I for sure am into nowadays and see the value of things she did......just as I can now see the value in her wisdoms she learned, that I now collect and have learned on my own......yes.....Goody combs areSTILL of great use and value...and they not changed in all these decades....how nice to know some things DON'T CHANGE - just like great the great values and lessons of our grandmothers that they collected and that became wisdoms, some things, thankfully, do NOT change - they just go on.Everyone - no matter your age, young or old, for the great cost of a pack of them, WILL find a great use in styling/holding your hair, in some way, I'm sure of it.

I've purchased numerous hair combs for my mother and have returned all of them. These combs are great for fine hair! They're the perfect size and very flexible. They actually stay in your hair! Definitely worth the money and I will buy them again. I do wish that they offered more varieties. All brown or all clear hair combs.

These are more cheaply made than the plastic ones I already had….. but sadly after years of use they had to be replaced…. I honestly would not buy this again but it works for now

Disappointed. Smaller and too slippery to hold fine hair. The older ones had a texture to the plastic they used. Smaller too.

Liked how strong they are and how well they work. Low profile hair comb in variety of colors.

The new improved isn’t so improved.I have always she was his friend couldn’t find them for a while so I was delighted to find them on Amazon account. They have got a smaller I and much more fragile. They no longer hold in my hair. Goody, , I don’t know what you did other than mess this up. You had great combs before

These combs are small and strong. They holds the hair in the desired position all day and will not slide out.

These combs are about 2" long and the teeth are about 1 1/4" long. The plastic is somewhat flexible so not as easy to break as the hard ones are (I hate it when teeth snap off in my hair.) My hair is cut short with a fine texture and this style comb holds it well.

Nice quality, hold very well even in my fine hair

Goody are the only ones that actually hold my hair, I think it's the design.
