Class up your lace ups!
Yep, it is leather cord. Replaced typical shoe strings on a pair of leather "urban" hiking boots, looks great.

Economical leather cord
Bought this to replace the broken leather shoe laces on a pair of loafers. Shoes are just like new. Was happy to be able to get this so easily through Amazon.

12 foot is not 5 yards
The cheapest leather cord I have bought on amazon yet, and even though the quality seems like poor leather or at least heavily treated, it is comfortably smooth. If I had received 5 instead of 4 yards I would probably have said good bang for buck.I also bought a red and black version, which has shipped a few days later. It looks good. The leather is a bit stiff. I like the colors. Unfortunately this one was just over 14 feet instead of 15 feet.

Looks and feels great!
Took several weeks to get but is prefect for what I bought it for.

Not very sturdy when trying to use for laces for leather.
Bought this to use as lacing for a leather book cover but it frayed to it frayed and seperated to almost nothing as I started to use it. It may work well for other uses but worthless for this.

More elastic than "traditional" boot type lacing.
The elasticity was unexpected. There is far more give when pulled tight than any cord or lacing I've used in the past. Still for the application I used it on lacing fairly thin suede it seems to be appropriate. I don't think this would be very effective for stiffer harder leather though.

Se rompe mi fácil
El cordón no es tan resistente como yo lo esperaba, tiende a desgastarse y romperse
