Excellent for the price
Headphones work fine, the only drawback is that you have to plug the audio out in every time you need to use. You cannot listen to the TV sound when headphones are plugged in. Not really that much of a hassle for the cost of the headphones though.

Poor signal, poor product
Awful product. Wouldn’t work. Nothing smart about it. Frequency searching is poor. Almost like trying to tune an old analogue tv.Fine for radio, dont buy if you want this for the tv

Usable
They work... sortaWe aren't talking digital transmission here. It's an old style FM transmitter (like you use to play MP3's over a car stereo). The headphones are OK. A little loose fit but wearable. All they really are, are a low quality FM radio receiver. 3 controls, On-Off/Volume, reset and scan. Pressing scan moves through the FM band to the next strong station, reset returns the scan to the beginning of the band. If you have the transmitter on, the first station is the transmitter. If you have the transmitter off it will start scanning the FM band for public broadcasts. The transmitter is low powered (due to the limitation of the FM band licence). It also picks up a tonne of mains hum as its not well shielded. A shame as it sits near a TV/PC which will be mains powered. It also runs through batteries incredibly quickly.Overall the sound quality is that of a low quality FM radio with some hiss and a tonne of 50hz mains hum.At the end of the day, its made to a price and it does what it says. Not superb value for money but not a rip of either

It worked but badly for the main thing I wanted it for!
I wanted to use it to listen to my TV and had had a product that looked very similar (by Zennox - who no longer exist it seems -that worked very well and cost about £25 for two about 20 years ago) to this one some years ago which eventually got broken/worn out. When I connected the transmitter to the TV I managed to get it to transmit sound to the headphones (the headphones picked upon FM radio well) but along with the sound of what was on the TV there was a continual background buzzing sound; when I moved the transmitter the sound to the headphones stopped completely so I suspect I was sent a product with faulty wiring which had probably been returned to the seller by someone else although it looked in good condition.

THey are okay if you have low expectations
You will need 4xAAA cells to operate these (two for the heaphones and two for the transmitter).THe sound quality is foggy and it almost sounds as if speech is muffled by mask, the headphones are light and flex easily and I would suggest not wearing them for extended periods. The transmitter can be powered via a DC supply (not supplied) and has 3 modes which are selected via a switch on the rear of the unit. The headphones have a built in radio which was a pain to switch off so reading the instructions is a good idea. In fact this is one feature I would rather they didn't include as it does not add any value and is bloody annoying when trying to connect it to the device you actually want to listen to. These are in no way audiophile quality headphones and there are wired headphones that give better sound quality and cost about the same price. Convenience wise though, these are very good value and I can lie in bed watching a movie at stupid o clock in the morning without disturbing the rest of the household. Considering the only other pair of wireless (non Bluetooth) headphones that can do this cost £80 I can recommend them but only if you don't expect them to be of high quality in build or sound.
