Easy to use
Takes a little manhandling but it seats well and feels sturdy.

Overall, a nice rack but could be better
I bought this product for a rear rack for a new FSB 29er MTB. It is a well-engineered rack and is nicely designed but it is slightly too small for a 29er with 2.5" tyres. There is a plastic moulding located to the underside and rear of the rack and, even with adjustment, this contacts the tyre. I had to take a hacksaw to it and removed 1cm before I had enough clearance. Even so, I am worried about the build-up of mud.Assembly was generally OK and it comes with the hex keys that are required. The ratched arrangement for the four compression mountings work really well. However, the assembly instructions are a bit spartan and there is no guidance on how to adjust the lateral position of the rack. This is much more difficult than it sounds. Overall, a nice rack but could be better.

Good pannier rack but really only for certain uses
I got this rack as I have three different bikes and wanted a rack which could be moved from bike to bike (I have 2 x Full Suss and 1 x hybrid). Wanted a rack which could be used for touring on at least two of these bikes. Rack itself is well constructed and lighter than it looks however, in getting a rack which can be moved from bike to bike I have had to concede some robustness. For example teh first time I fitted the rack to my steel hybrid (attached to the rear seat stays as instructed) i noticed that the rack slipped slightly under load and moved off centre. I ended up removing it and re fitting it but having to tighten the clamps right up. Not sure if this is the grip/clamp design or because it's primarily designed for mountain bikes which have wider stays/forks? Anyway, after adjustment it was much more stable but still not happy with the level. Having to buy the side racks separate was costly and a bit of a pain too, shame as it's a great design if you want to tour on a full suspension MTB

Fab for the bikes that dont have rack attachments
I have been using this for the daily commutes and nights out when on the bike. The rack is very easy to fix to the bike and just takes a bit of time to adust so that it is level.I do like how i can swap and change between different bikes if i wanted to and front and back of the bike. The only downside to this rack is that the magnet to keep the bags attached at the bottom are not strong enough so you do get some lift depending on the weight in the bagsif you wanted to get round that you could buy the attachments and use non Thule bags or the standard rack bags that have the clip to hold it down

Great Product and Support
I purchased the rack and Panniers for my main commute bike. Picture taken after 500 miles of hard off-road useOverall very high quality ( i would normally go Ortlieb as they are the market leaders for this type of bike kit but thought id give Thule a try )Installation took about 25mins, very simple and a very unique and effective way of attaching to bike .I did have an issue with the racks. After 2 days usage i noticed a missing bolt. I would guess that it was missing when new but i didn't want to return via amazon because the bike is used daily as my main commuter so off i went to 'Thule Support' to log a ticket thinking the worst....Kudos to the Thule team. After i explained why i didn't want to do an amazon return the Thule customer support team sent me out the missing part to my home address and now all is well. A definite 5 star product and the after sale support to match.

Worth the extra.
Needed a rack to cope with cantilevered rear suspension. This was easy to fit , feels strong, and looks the biz. Costly but worth it

Fabulous Design
This is beautifully designed and extremely well made. Every detail has been thought of and is in such contrast to the usual cr*p coming from China. I've installed it on an electric mountain bike with 3" tyres ...... about the least suitable bike for a pannier but it still works exactly as it should . Hats off to the design team. The only negative is that it's not something you ideally want to remove after every ride. But it's an acceptable compromise in return for being rock solid fully loaded. Given the quality of materials and construction I think it is very good value. Highly recommend.
