Big enough for tamales Hands thumb to pinky!
If you spread your finger that is a good size of reference to make tamales to roll and fold. Make sure you soak and rinse with Baking Soda and Vinegar for 30 minutes. Rinse with clean water/ boiling hot water and scrub clean.

Bonaterra Valley Large Corn Husks for Tamales 5.3 oz
I regularly buy corn husks for tamale making but these are the nicest I’ve seen. They are a large size with even the smallest one I pulled from the center of the package measuring 7 inches. There are no tears or small pieces unlike the package of standard corn husks I have on-hand which contains many small sections. To use those small sections requires overlapping pieces so ultimately more husks are needed. Also piecing small sections together requires extra steps and time so sometimes they are simply discarded versus simply using a large portion of husk. The UV treatment is also a big plus and that alone is enough to prompt me to buy this brand since more than once I’ve encountered insects and/or mold which to say the least is off-putting. The price point is high but overall pleased.

Really impressive!
I usually use the husks you can get at a big box store. I am really impressed with these. They are a really nice size so you have plenty of husk to pull of a tie.One thing I always struggle with is dirty and stained husks or undersized husks. So I am usually tossing some away in the process of making my tamales. I end up buying multiple bags due to this. These husks are so nice looking! It's hard to believe they are real. They are nice and clean. Now for the price. I agree with another reviewer that this is a really high price for these. They are beautiful but they need to be a little less expensive and not by a ton! A few dollars less and they would be perfect.I don't mind paying extra to have clean, large husks....but maybe not THIS much extra.Overall, if you are making tamales for an event these are GREAT. If you are making tamales for your family, the cheaper options are likely more than adequate.

I expected a cleaner product
I expected this product to be cleaner. I thought these would be washed and clean as they were UV treated. You can clearly see that there is a lot of lint particles and dirt particles in the bag. Nothing a good rinse can't get rid of though. The husks themselves are a decent size, mostly uniform.Overall these are good, but I can't justify the cost. They are double the price (and a lesser amount) of the ones you get at the market I prefer to just soak them in some vinegar, rinse and use.

Good-quality and clean
I'm using these corn husks for wrapping fish for grilling, and they work well. They are of good quality and large. They look clean and have very little to no odors. Pretty easy to use. Simply rinse and soak in water before use. These come in a large, resealable Kraft bag with clear plastic on one side. No dates of any kind are found on the package but the contents look good and clean. Product of Mexico. Overall, these are pretty decent corn husks for wrapping and preparing foods. They get the job done.

Very Good Quality
These seem to be very good quality. I have not used them for tamales yet but I did soak one in warm water to check for flexibility and smell. They are pliable and will fold nicely and they also smell good.

Loved using these
They are huge compared to others I’ve seen. This made it easy to use for me, a beginner, and I also used a strip torn from the side to tie around certain ones (to mark the super mild ones for the kids). The husks softened nicely just with sitting in hot water. I also was comforted by how they are UV treated so that I didn’t have to worry about mold or other yucky life forms on the husks. And they didn’t give any weird tastes to the tamales. These husks are a bit spendy, but they make up for it by the amount of peace of mind they come with.
