Award-winning Speaker
This portable Bluetooth speaker is an award-winning speaker with hi-fidelity sound. It has two tweeters and one woofer and sounds great. Other things I like are an aux input and usb charger.UPDATE to my first review: Kudos to the company. A brand new replacement speaker was shipped to me and it has proven to be working without any trouble for more than a year now. The first speaker I bought failed after a short time and only worked when plugged in to ac power. It stoped working when unplugged. I had it for less than five months.

Eventually sounded good for the price, but not without issues. Cautious Recommendation
SummaryStraight out of the box it sounds like a cheap boom box; horribleAfter about 25 hours it produced a well balanced, solid and natural sound underpinned by its prodigious and well controlled bass.Excells with classical, jazz and acoustic.Modern music can have an unnatural bass boost and high energy music can sound a bit polite.Makes the best of all music formats from mp3 to cd quality lossless but probably overkill if you listen to a lot of mp3.Big issue with sound is lack of projection into the room so you are always aware of the sound emenating from a little box.A few niggles with its design and usability. My one hums horribly when connecting a device for charging.Packaged without a UK mains lead!Bottom lineNot up to the rave reviews in the press. But still a good sound for the price.Worth a try but you may have to endure the first 25 hours.Check the charging connector as soon as you get it.Very good for classical, jazz or acoustic music and pretty good with modern genres.A cautious recommendation. The DetailBuild quality. OK but a bit cheap looking on the rear and bad hum from speakers when a device is connected for USB charging.Sound. First 25 hours it sounded bass heavy with a recessed mid-range, so pretty bad. Afterwards the sound became much more balanced and the bass tighter and more controlled. It has a natural tonal quality and instruments and vocals sound solid and authoritative. There is good detail but it's not over analytical and it has a sweet treble. Reasonably dynamic but can sound a bit polite with high energy music. Modern genres can cause an emphasis or bloom in the bass that can upset the balance if the music. The big issue with the presentation is the lack of projection of the music out of the box, in this regard even my £25 tiny tecevo (brilliant for the price) speaker is better.Design. Is OK but led display can be difficult to see as it's the same colour as the surround. The buttons feel a bit cheap. Some type of tone control would have been useful as would a simple remote control.Packaging. Delivered without a UK charging lead.

Great sounding speaker
I'm very impressed with the sound of this speaker. I much prefer it to the JBL Playlist I also own. The sound is full with a solid sounding bass and tight punchy mids, the highs can get a little harsh at full volume but I hardly ever need to play it at full.I use it with a Chromecast audio for multiroom audio and because I prefer the sound of audio over wifi compared to bluetooth, though this speaker still sounds great over bluetooth. Bear in mind if you use tyhe USB port on the back to power a chromecast audio you will need a ground loop noise isolator to get a clean signal, they cost from about £4.The battery lasts well, I've only needed to charge it a couple of times since owning it. The enclosure is quite bulky so not a speaker you can throw in your backpack or take on holiday, but great round the house and to take into the garden.

The best consumer Bluetooth speaker at this price
I would wholeheartedly recommend this product. After testing all of the major consumer Bluetooth speakers I took a chance on reviews and took a chance on this one. I did not regret it.First of all, the sound is great. The highs are detailed, the mid-range is pleasing and there's plenty of bass. Three speakers don't fall into the common trap of overblowing the bass leaving a much more balanced and reference sound signature. The soundstage is decent, although stereo seperation isn't the best but it's too be expected of a speaker this size. The volume can get very high, enough to cause hearing damage in a small room or fill a very large room or a small house with sound. Overall the sound is better than Bose soundlink 2 mini, revolve and revolve plus, as well as various JBL and Sony Bluetooth speakers I have tested in the £100-300 bracket. The build is fantastic. It's been knocked around and dropped a couple times and is completley unphased. It feels solid and very well built. The Bluetooth connection is stable, and I've expirence no drops out clipping from my Samsung galaxy note 8.The battery lasts for days and days. Honestly I've never been caught short add it lasts 20+ hours. Now you can't exactly slip this in a bag and forget about it as it's quite heavy, although I've taken it camping and in the car, sitting in the garden, to the park etc no problem. The charge port also saved us once camping and made sure we had enough battery to sat nav back home.Another point, although it's very sturdy It also doesn't seem waterproof so it's not as suited for outdoors and some others on the market.A huge advantage of these speakers is the fact that it takes Bluetooth and 3.5mm Aux cable input, as well as running of (a massive) battery and power cable. This means that if the Bluetooth stops working (very common problem with many speakers like Bose) you can still play music. It also means that if the battery stops charging, you can use it on mains as a kitchen or bedroom type speaker. I keep mine plugged in whenever I'm not taking it out, meaning I have a permanent speaker in my bedroom which is always at full charge whenever I disconnect. Even if the battery fully dies, it's replaceable as you can buy the batteries seriously and install it by undoing a few screw's. All this means is that your investment is protected, and in the case of Bluetooth or battery problems occurring outside warranty you can keep it working and won't end up with and expensive paperweight. These issues are very common with brands like Bose, JBL, Sony so you've got safeguards built in.I had done reservations about buying this as there were fewer reviews than the Bose, JBL, Sony counterparts. After a few months with these is clear that instead of spending Thier money on marketing and advertising, audio pro have spent Thier money on quality components, meaning as a consumer you get better sound and build for less money. Don't waste your money recouping losses for marketing budgets when you should be spending it on products investing materials and manufacturing. All in all for the price you won't do better.100% recommended.

Very pleased with this purchase
The Audio Pro Addon T3 is a rather good compromise between portability and sound quality. It's small enough to pack into a bag, but large enough to pack in some clever electronics and speakers. No one would expect to get pounding bass out of a box this small but the T3 reproduces some of the lower frequencies rather well. The mid range is good at reproducing instruments and voices quite realistically. The higher frequencies though are not so well reproduced, just OK. But overall the sound is very good for the price. LIKES are: the Bluetooth is very slick and once paired will connect automatically when switched back on; it's easy to carry around; the speakers are protected by metal grilles to prevent damage; battery life is good with auto switch-off to save battery. DISLIKES; volume control is a bit clunky but liveable with (and it can be controlled from your phone/tablet anyway); sound is good but not quite there at higher frequencies. But then I listen to a £10K plus system at home so maybe have higher expectations than others. Overall though I'm very pleased with the purchase. I particularly like balancing the T3 on my stomach in bed with an iPad on top to watch films - like having a mini cinema in front of you. Brilliant.
