Torn
I’m torn on how to review this product, as SOME games are clear and perfect, but others the graphics are terrible with characters looking silver in colour, like a mono tone, also the menu is doubled up so not the stated amount of games.I wanted it for Pac-Man and donkey kong and they are perfect, the d pad (controller) takes some getting used to and isn’t exact with its response but for the price I wouldn’t expect anything else…ask me by all means if there is one or two games you’re interested in and I will let you know how they perform

Great fun
Bought two, one for my son and wife, doesn't cut it with my son as he wants ultra modern games on his console, but my wife and I love it as the 80's was our childhood time 👍

Old skool gaming fun....mostly.
Obviously styled to look very much like the original Gameboy, but with a colour screen & a few tricks up its sleeve. There's apparently 400 games on board, lots of which you may try once, never to return, but there are a few belters on there..... original Mario, Defender, a version of bomberman, loved it on the 16-consoles, not so much on this machine....partly as the controls aren't quite slick enough. A few of the games are unplayable, a version of Mortal Kombat was actually impossible, things seemed to have happened before the screen knew about it. Jumpy & dreadful. But there is good fun to be had with some of the games....Donkey Kong, anyone??If you've an old TV, you can actually plug this in & play on the big screen. Graphics will obviously be less than wonderful. The battery is rechargeable via a micro USB.It does feel very much on the budget side, but I guess it should given the price. So long as you can cope with the very outdated graphics, you'll have a blast with this....the nostalgia alone is worth the money.

Great fun for young and old!
This is a clone of an old game boy games machine, the biggest difference being you wont have to lose all your pocket money to get a selection of games to play on it.The UI is in English and Chinese and is a little clunky, simple trial and error will get you there soon enough though. It comes in a cardboard retail package that include a mobile phone style battery and charger, more good news!It has a reasonably good colour screen and is listed as having 400 games built in!In truth quite a few of the games are listed more than once Galaxian and donkey kong to name just two.I am confident there are well over 300 different games on it, more than enough to keep anyone busy for some time. The battery life is actually pretty good, charge it up and give it to your children for the long holiday drive and you might just get there without an argument this year! The colour screen is more than good enough for the 8 bit games this plays.I hade great fun playing Galaxian on it, I was pretty good in the day (and still am now!)This is for sale at under £30 (At time of review) and you could spend that easily on a couple of games back in the day! So I can only call this a bargain!Happy to help.

Nostalgic fun, works and functions well. Feels quite cheap
So this has the same style of the game boy colour but with 4 gamepad buttons. It's very light and has quite a cheap feel to it, but nothing unexpected given it's price.Everything still works as it should and with proper care I can't see it just falling apart. It's ready to go out of the box and loads up instantly. It's a simple menu - once the language is chosen you're taken straight to a list of games. There seems to be some favourites already installed amongst a reasonable collection of games that any old gamer will recognise. The screen is of low quality, but fine. It has a back light to improve visibility but it's really best reserved for indoor play.It does connect to a TV but your TV will need to have the old analogue inputs to work (or an adapter).I've tried quite a few games and they all seem to run fine on the installed processor but obviously the games list is limited to 8mb games.Has a volume control wheel on the side and the sound is reasonable and goes sufficiently loud.Battery seems to be as advertised and is charged via a micro USB (included). Would have been nice to see USB C but it's fine.Would make a nice gift for a retro gamer as an entry into the retro gaming scene, who hasn't had a device like this before. Its basic but enough to bring a smile to their face and provide hours of fun.
