Nice soft rubber for mending my shoes
What can I say? It's a strip of rubber that's useful for all kinds of things. I'd previously bought the same item but thicker to fit to the legs of my wooden garden furniture to keep them off the wet concrete. I wanted to make some repairs to some shoe soles but found it too thick, so bought this strip which is thinner and therefore more flexible to mould to the shape of the sole. Made my repairs and have loads left, so now I have two rolls of different thickness for future use. I've already used some of the thicker roll for various other uses. So handy to have in my garage.

Heavier than I thought it would be
This is a thick heavy product, a bit heavier than I wanted. I planned to make fishing rod wraps with it. I have made some, not sure if they will wrap tightly enough around the tip sections as so heavy. Adhesion is non-existent, I used fabric glue to attach my coloured fabric and sewed velcro on with my industrial sewing machine using a denim needle. I'm sure I will find a good use for this; hubbie bought me a lighter weight adhesive roll for my rod wraps 😎

Decent but be careful
Good price for this rubber strip, but bear in mind that this is not sealed rubber so even handling it will mark your hands and its a little sticky. Used for bottom door strip to stop draft, and a few swipes across the carpet left black mark. Easily removed from carpet and fixed with a run of cloth tape along the bottom edge that touches the carpet, its fine now and plenty left for future draft exclusions

Simple, cheap sealing solution
Used as a base over wood battens for applying twin-wall poly roofing sheets and does the job. Not self-adhesive but I used a little adhesive at either end of each run to keep it in place before the sheets were laid on top. No water ingress so far despite the very wet weather we've had.

Quality product good price
Clean edges, cuts with easy to give good finish. Used for weather strip. Tried to used silicone based adhesive with reasonable results but have secured with screws and washers to get a better hold.

Just what I needed.
For a test for the car I was building I had to enlarge the mudguards on the rear to get it through the exam. This product was ideal once I figured out that 10 second glue would hold it all together.

Great product!
This replaced a previous rubber draught excluder strip, that had weathered and rotted over several years. It did a good job!

Exactly as described
I needed an edging for a circular saw straight edge guide. The roll I bought will give years of replacement strip as the guide is used.
