Wanted a larger spiral, but this one ended up being a really odd curve that always laid weird or stuck out in an inconvenient, &/or unattractive way. The balls were smallest I've seen on a barbell, not that that's a bad thing. They looked like decent quality, but I'm not sure they are actually surgical steel.I do have a sensitivity to cheap metals, even most organic materials cause issues for me. I only tried the silver toned pair, and in less than 24hrs my ear was red, slightly inflamed, hot, and achy. If you don't have sensitivity to metal, just make sure this is the right bend/twist for what your looking for. If holding the item between finger & thumb, from top to bottom, the piece is about 1/2" or slightly more, long.

Love them but I can't wear them. Hurts my ears but I gave them to friends and there a great fit for her.

They look good in my helix piercing, but they are all identical, so they aren't symmetrical when I put them in. They should be pairs that are mirror images of eachother instead of identical. Theses are better if you have a single piercing you want to put one in, and not pairs.

I bought these for a lip ring and they just didn’t fit the way I figured they would. No matter which way I turned then it just looked very odd but I’m giving 4 stars because the quality/packaging and they might look cute as something other than a lip ring.

GETS CAUGHT IN HAIR!!! Super cute but it's open so its always getting caught in my hair and tugging at the earring which irritates my ear. If you have shorter hair this might not be a problem for you.
