Effective against colds!
I've been taking zinc for the past seven years to strengthen my immune system after suffering what seemed to be a never-ending bout of common colds - around eight colds in the space of twelve months.Despite various inconclusive studies on the effectiveness of zinc, my own experience suggests that this stuff WORKS! I only take zinc at the earliest onset of a cold - the earlier, the better to improve its effectiveness. I do not believe zinc reduces the length or severity of a cold (for me, anyway). What's the difference between Zinc Picolinate and other forms of zinc? Picolinate absorbs better and is thus the most effective form of zinc. How much zinc should you take? The tolerable upper intake level (UL) is 40mg, but the recommended (RDA) dose is 11mg. I feel 25mg is not enough to fend off a cold, roughly 65% effective, whereas 50mg proves 95% effective. However, I will only take one high dose and reduce it to 25mg daily until all symptoms have gone. Taking higher dosages of zinc can cause a copper deficiency, so it's recommended to take a copper supplement. I don't and have had no ill effects.Since taking zinc, I rarely get colds and no longer worry about missing or ruining excursions and vacations. I've only been ill five times in the last seven years - and judging by my experience, that's purely down to zinc.

Questionable packaging but certainly good value
I have always used zinc supplements to try and keep my immunity as high as possible, and I switched to zinc picolinate when I read an article that said it was better absorbed by the body.I usually buy Solgar ones which are a very slightly lower dose and cost around £7 for 100 tablets, so 240 these for (at the time of writing) about £15 is a decent price. They are larger capsules than the small Solgar tablets, but easy enough to take. They say they're made in Europe - it would be nice to know exactly where but I trust them more than supplements from China, say.I didn't like the packaging much - it's a faff resealing the bag and it's quick bulky - a glass or plastic container would be sturdier and easier to store and use - and it claims to be 100% recyclable - technically true but it's labelled as LDPE 4 (good that the plastic type is labelled) which isn't recycled from home bins in my area so it's not as good as the glass jars Solgar's come in.Still it's my preferred form of zinc for a fair price, if they stay this price I might well buy again.

Good quantity, easy to take.
I’ve been taking zinc since the start of the pandemic, it was actually something a nurse said to me one day as I have no immune system. Since then I’ve encouraged my hubs and kids to religiously take zinc daily, and in all fairness, if anyone catches anything, it doesn’t seem to last as long and they get over it quicker. After googling the picolinate, it is suggested that this is absorbed better by the body, and in my book that’s a winner.240 days worth is a large amount, and will last the two of us 120 days, the one thing that really annoys me is having to remember to get supplements because they only come in quantities of 30, so I am always on the look out for the larger quantities.

Easy to swallow tablets
You can read up on the benefits of Zinc supplementation on the internet, these tablets are ideal if you feel you need to boost your zinc intake. They come in a resealable bag type packaging, which I personally love as they're easy to decant into the little daily reminder pill boxes that I have now I'm getting old :) and it's easy to reseal. The pills are around the size of any capsule type pills you get from the supermarket or pharmacy and are easy to swallow. The formula within them is known to be easy for the body to absorb, and I've had no ill effects from taking them. They are a one a day tablet and you get 240 so a good 8 months worth.

Extremely short best before date
Recently purchased these and have just noticed that they have a best before date of for the end of October 2024. At a recommended dosage of one a day most of the 240 capsules will be binned.

Easy to Swallow
These zinc supplements are great quality and I’m pleased with the ingredients in them. I find them easy to swallow and I’ve not had any issues or unwanted side effects which is good. I feel they are very easy to take and they are supporting my health which is the most important thing. The packaging is good for storing the supplements in and it’s easy to dispense them. I feel the quantity is decent for the cost making these supplements excellent value for money. I definitely do recommend them and I will get them again in the future.

Good value zinc supplement for 8 month supply
The Nutrality Zinc Picolinate capsules come in a black plastic pouch with white, red, green & blue text & logos. The pouch contains 240 capsules with the suggested serving size being 1 capsule per day.As my daughter has been having a stressful few months with various things & feeling a bit rundown & susceptible to picking up colds & minor bugs lately, I gave her the zinc capsules to see if they'd help give her immune system a boost. Her feedback on the product below. The capsules are easy to swallow & serving size is perfect as just 1 capsule per day. Have used for the past few weeks & they seem to be helping as I haven't had any long lasting colds or bugs. Picked up a cold a week ago & I'm recovering quite fast. No negative effects & easy to digest as they haven't caused my IBS to flare up.Good value as a pouch of 240 capsules will cover almost 8 months.

Easy to swallow and high absorption
Generally, it is important to speak with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, as supplements can interact with medications and other supplements and may not be appropriate for everyone. My GP has advised me to take Zinc because of my low immunity system, and I decide to take a shot on this item.I noticed a small change after the third day of taking it. It drastically helped to reduce the red pimples which appeared on my face. That means it is working. It is easy to swallow and can be mixed with food as you prefer.Recommend
