these are my absolute favorite trauma shears! I work as an orthopedic CMA with ortho surgeons, but in their office clinic. So I’m either seeing pre op or post op patients / injury follow ups from the hospitals nearby and I’m consistently needing to cut off the undercast padding to remove casts, cut stockinette rolls and extra straps/padding off DME’s. I’m able to effortlessly get the job done with these shears and ALL THE DOCS I WORK WITH TRY TO STEAL THEM! so now I ordered another 2 pack and have 3 total! Long review but I really do love them and could save a lot of money for everyone else trying all those cute dainty tiny ones that don’t even work!

These are sharp ✂️ ✂️ ✂️They're durable, they're a GREAT addition to a first-aid kit.I bought them for my daughter, she is 11, and builying a kit as she is learning how to use specific medical items, she wants to be an MD, or an nurse.And I am gonna buy more for my EDC first aid kits (car, home, etc).

I’m a wound care nurse and I purchased these because I lost my last pair of shears. These came highly recommended by a couple of coworkers, and I’m so happy I decided to get them. They are durable and reliable.

These are heavier duty than dollar store ones, the rivets are robust and have a washer to reduce friction on the side of the river that got smashed which is a great detail. The handles are comfortable but the thumb hole should be larger. Winter gloves will be a problem. The bevels on both blades are sharper than other scissors I have which indicates to me that they can power thru thicker/denser materials. I also like the rounded but not folded over lower tip. I just wish they had told the truth about the size.
