I didn't get any tin can - not that you really need one, but anyway. But this honing paste is actually very good and I think you should give it a try. I bought it for the leather strop I use for my straight razor and I can really see the difference.

Excellent product
Brings knife edges to mirror finish (when used with leather strop). The tin is .very small indeed so if you're going to use a lot buy the big tin
