RimmelSunshimmer Water Resistant Instant Tan Wash Off Matte - Medium

I haven’t purchased this since my younger days and thought I’d give it another shot! OMG - so easy to apply (I used a tanning brush).This tan is good for one day needed tans as does go a bit blotchy if get wet but once it’s applied, it’s not tacky like most tans and doesn’t give streaks throughout the day.I tend to apply this if I’m wearing shorts as it makes my legs look 100% better. Literally takes 5-10 minutes to apply and dries into the skin so fast so can get on with the day! Brilliant product.

I love it, especially for my "milk bottle" legs. It evens up the skin with a slight shimmer. I also bought the brush for it at the same time and it keeps my hands clean. Im not a sumbather and dont like self tanning products so I find this to be a big relief, especially as it stays put till you wash it off and it didnt transfer to my clothes or light beige furniture.

Cannot believe that I can still get this amazing stuff! I'm 51 n I used this alot from the age of 13! Still as amazing as then n the smell is the same too. Smells like perfume not the biscuit smell like other tanning products. It dries really quick n when U use a kabuki brush to apply it it is absolutely amazing. Never faulted at all. Easy to wash off too. Great for my legs which are so pale they look like milk bottles. No lie. Just look at the pics 😂 but the pics don't do it justice. I've used the medium shade so it gives me a lush golden glowing tan that doesn't look fake, streaky nor patchy. I've tried so many tanning products n this by far is THE BEST! Thanks Rimmel. U never to cease to amaze.

If you are looking for a good value wash-off tan that applies easily and has a good, neutral colour (I am fair to light skinned with warm undertones), this may be worth considering. However, if you are sensitive to strong scents or you are very particular about the scents you like, I'd suggest that you think twice before buying this one.Personally, the fragrance of this product was a deal breaker for me, so much so that I managed only one application from the whole tube and even then, I desperately wanted to wash it off after 10 minutes. I did want to give the product a chance however, so I persevered to see if the strong scent dissipated. Sadly, it was still too strong even after many hours. I would describe it as very 'Woods of Windsor' or a traditional, powdery scent. It lingers and if you like to wear perfume or other fragrance, then it may not be the best product to use as it could clash or 'muddy' the fragrance you are wearing.In summary, everything about this product apart from the fragrance is just fine. Why Rimmel felt the need to add such a strong and distinctive fragrance to a self-tanning product without DHA is anyone's guess but it makes it a 'no' for me.

Really natural lookingI’ve used this for years and I can’t live without it 😂I don’t wear makeup at all, never have, so I use this product to even out my skin blemishes and it also gives me a healthy look it’s brilliantIt does dry quickly while applying so I mix a bit of moisturiser (Johnson’s baby lotion) with it and it does the trickI’m 58 years old now and I’ve used it as long as I can remember.. honestly, every day, and it lasts all day it’s part of my morning routine 😀

Just what is needed to give a nice glow on your legs! I moisturise first then apply a small amount rubbing it in carefully to avoid patchiness. It looks dark initially but goes on well if you don't go mad when squeezing the tube! It washes off easily if you make a mistake. Well worth the money.
