Good quality material, not as thin as many other covers. I'm not sure the loops for the duvet are that useful since I don't have anywhere on the duvet to attach them - I guess it would be possible to sew some loops onto the duvet.The pillow cases are large but the fold to hold the pillows in is halfway down the pillow case at the bottom so the pillowcases are a bit awkward to fill and it means that the fold shows underneath so they can't be turned over without it showing.
