CPR Shield Barrier Pocket Masks In Keyring Pouch - 3 Pack

I've had to perform CPR outside of a healthcare facility twice now. After the first time I thought to myself, "when is this ever going to happen again?" sure enough, it did. I performed CPR on my neighbor, who did not make it, (she suffered a pulmonary embolism). She vomited and aspirated gastric content. I purchased these because I was hardly able to stand giving mouth to mouth to someone who had just thrown up. I used a porous blanket that had gaps in the design as a barrier, but that didn't really help much.My wife and I both have one on our key chains and one in each of our vehicles. I have also given these as gifts to friends of mine who are certified. I haven't had to use one yet, but I feel better having one now. I gave it 4 stars just because I haven't used it and don't know how well it will perform.

I've had this for a year and haven't used it yet, but I have taken it out of the package and examined it. I am kinda weary about whether I will be able to get a good seal with it on the victim's mouth because the plastic is pretty thick and not super easy to adapt. The appliance is covered in a dime bag, and then carried in the colored pouch as advertised.If you attach this to your key chain, it's gonna get some wear and tear. Looking at it right now, one year later, the red canvas bag looks dirty but has held up well. The dime bag looks pretty worn out, and I'm sure there are microscopic holes in it. This is not a sterile appliance. The appliance itself still appears to be in perfect condition though.

I just renewed my CPR certification and figured I should actually be willing to use it. This meant I needed some face shields. I got these because the price was good and the size is nice. They have a handy hook so you don't have to commit to keeping it on your key chain. The size is very convenient. They have the nice one way valve and good coverage. Fortunately, I haven't had to use them yet, so I'll report back if that occurs.

These shields appear to be good quality for the money. It is something you purchase and hope to never have to use. I gave one to each of my daughters and kept one for me. If I have my car medical kit with me, then I will choose the full-face barrier mask first over this one simply because it will provide more protection. This one is great, however, when you don't have access to other equipment.

4.5 rating.I bought these because I like that it says CPR on the front. In case someone needs it, they can grab it from my bag. I wish they added measurements to the product descriptions. These are larger and thicker than I thought they would be. I feel they're too large to connect and carry on the keychain. 2.5"h/3.75w"/1"d. Overall it works but more for a first aid bag than a keychain.

Bought this after having two incidents over the last few years where I happened upon people who needed to be resusitated and I didn't have any equipment around until the ambulance showed up. I swore I would not be without a pocket mask ever again so bought these based on my PALS instructor's recommendation. I carry them around but thankfully have not had to use them since, but good for peace of mind.

Received promptly - the cases, though nothing special, are adequate, and the cpr masks are a lot mor substantial than expected. Directions are clear, and this looks to be a good product even though, thankfully, I have not had to try them out. One thing I did not see in the description is that these are "one itme use" items, though common sense would indicate so. Definitely would order more from them again when/if these are used.

I put one in my car, one at work, and one in my purse. They're light and small, easy to transport. The clear CPR label has made it easy for others in my car to recognize - a bonus in case someone ever needs it to help save me. They're a good value for the cost.
