Sturdy, multi purpose and affordable
This bike rack has been great. It needs complete assembly up front (which would be hard without a socket set), but that also means you can use it as either a full 4 bike rack or a 2 bike rack if you don’t fully assemble it. This flexibility has been great, and something I use all the time. I leave the front half and back half individually built, just not joined. If you need to load a 3rd or 4th bike, just bolt the two halves together and go.The full 4 bike rack is VERY heavy, which speaks to its sturdiness, but also makes it unwieldy. I’ve found splitting it into 2 pieces both makes it easier to get on/off the car and much easier to hang on the garage wall.It has an anti-wobble feature that’s activated by tightening a bolt once threaded through the hole in the hitch (again, a socket wrench makes this much easier) that makes it very sturdy. When I tighten it all the way, I can’t wiggle the rack at all without moving the whole car. I’ve hauled 2 bikes on a 6 hour round trip ride with no concerns. The bolt also comes with a hole at the end for a padlock, if you’d like to leave the rack on for extended periods or take it on trips. The fold up and down is easy, a very convenient feature. It’s not as slick as a top name brand rack, but it’s also less than half the cost, so that’s worth it to me.Lastly, the arms that lock the bike in place seem sturdy and like they will last a long time. My bike is a straight cross beam on the frame and my wife’s is an angled one, and it works great for both. It has straps for the tires, but I view them as more or a safety than actually doing anything. I’ve purposefully not strapped them down the past few local trips and haven’t noticed any difference. The one thing I’d like is a way to lock bikes to the rack itself, but I can buy a long bike lock and thread it through any bikes on the rack + the rack itself to make something work. Again, not as slick as the name brand racks, but worth the money saved for me.All in all, I’d highly recommend this rack to anyone looking.

So far so good...
We finally found a hitch bicycle mount! They are difficult to find, especially for 4 bikes so we were excited to finally get one. The rack is of high quality. It took me about 20 minutes to put it together. I would recommend using your own tools instead of the one's they provide you (especially for the nuts). I followed the directions and built it on the hitch which was the best way to do it. Honestly, the directions were short on words but the pictures were very clear. We loaded up our four road bikes and have put it through the tests of bumps, turns, interstate, etc. and it has done great. The bikes move very little. I am able to fold it up by myself but my wife is not. It is pretty heavy so I showed my 12 year old son how to help and they have folded up it a few times already. We are going to buy some reflective tape to add to the ends. It came with one reflective circle plate but it sticks pretty far from the vehicle (remember, we have four bikes). We want to make sure that the people behind us can see the edge, particularly at night. We have a 2-inch hitch and had not issues with it wobbling. I wish that it had some type of locking mechanism but we were able to lock it to our hitch with another "rope bike lock" for now. I will probably figure out some way to make sure we can lock it to our vehicle more securely. But so far, so good.

Solid but Some Issues
This is my first hitch bike rack and I bought it after reading many reviews. The price was good and so were the reviews. It does the job and seems very sturdy. The threaded pin that secures the rack to the hitch mount is very nice. The bikes also are secure and don’t move about. The down side is the weight and the difficulty adjusting the padded brace that slides over the frame of the bikes to secure them. You really have to pound them with your hand. I addressed this with Amazon and the manufacturer and amazon gave me a refund and the rack company promptly sent me a replacement brace. Things are better but still challenging. One another issue with all that heavy steel is rust. After the first rain I saw signs of rust. It isn’t going to fall apart anytime soon but rust is unsightly. Maybe need better painting process.

Nice rack and great value!
This rack is really nice! I got the 4 bike version, which can also be used as a 2 bike if you leave the final leg off (to me this was a major selling point as I wanted the 4 bike only for when we do family greenway rides and vacations). This thing is really great, I just took it to the trails today and it makes loading and unloading bikes so much easier than my old hanging rack. BTW it folds up nicely when you aren't using it as well. It came with a decent instructions booklet, but I had one issue during assembly which ended up being my own mistake. I reached out to the seller for support and got an answer in LESS than one business day! To me this is great support! I would not hesitate to buy this again. I can't comment on its lock-ability as I typically am fine with just bolting it to the receiver. I would say if you can find a locking threaded BOLT it would work. Or perhaps a better plan would be to lock the bikes together and to your hitch if you can with a long cable and plain old master lock.

Very Sturdy
Very sturdy and easily holds four bikes securely. The tilt feature is definitely a 2-person job with the bikes on, but that is not a big issue. Assembly instructions were well laid out and my husband and I had it together in about 20 minutes. Can’t remember if the instructions indicated this - but be sure to assemble it on your vehicle, it allows ground clearance for inserting the parts and securing the bolts. We’ve used it as only a 2-bike rack and also used it with the additional set added for a 4-bike rack. Great price for such a versatile sturdy bike rack
