Great Fragrance Free Option
This shaving cream is a great option that is gluten and fragrance free. It is creamy and moisturizing, but doesn't clog my razor. It has a slight smell, but it's pleasant. It has not irritated my skin or given me a rash. This a good option for people with sensitive skin.

Works and Smells Great
I notice fewer razor bumps after using this. It's fragrance-free, but I personally think it smells great, smells kind of like a cream dessert.

Excellent for sensitive skin
I've been trying to find a shaving product that is neutral. I've used the Nivea for sensitive skin, but there is still something in that that makes my face really red after I get done shaving. When I squeezed the first bit out to give it a try I was concerned that it was way to light of a cream to form a slick surface to shave, but I was wrong. While the cream is a bit on the thin side, it does form a nice protective barrier to the skin, and I get just about a good of a shave than using a typical chemical filled shaving cream.I reduced it one star because it does smell kind of weird, not pungent, but like corn or something. You can't smell it after you wash it off when you're done, no lingering effects, but when it's on your face you get a whiff of it, not terrible, just...weird.Overall, I'll buy it again, works pretty good and leaves my face not red.

"Please don't change the formula for this"
This is the best shaving cream product I've ever used overall. Please don't alter the formula in any way. First the PROS: it doesn't take a lot to fully cover your face; this cream stays on and stays moist while you shave so you don't have to touch-up with more cream as you go along; I experience less nicks, cuts and shave burns using this product;; the skin feels normal afterwards; no rash and the seborrheic dermatitis symptoms I normally experience in my beard have been decreased thus far; the caveat to the last point is that I started using this product in April which is when I have less of these symptoms relative to the winter. The CONS: the product does not smell good--it actually smells a little on the bad side but it is very tolerable considering it works well (the last thing I want is for them to add a perfume which will cause irritation). It smells like corn flakes or something along those lines but only stronger. The other con is that there is very little product in each container; as mentioned before not that much product is needed to get a good shave; considering the price of this product they should be able to include more cream in a larger container as I don't think they are that hard pressed for cash that they need to sell way more of these things to keep it going.. In conclusion, I definitely recommend this product but the company should include at least 50% more product. Please don't change the formula for this and provide more than 50% more product (ideally 100% more) so we don't feel like we are getting ripped off each time a bottle runs out.

Good for sensitive skin, but very thick, expensive and clogs drains
I have very sensitive skin, and have tried several other shaving creams, which all irritated my skin. This is the first one I’ve found that doesn’t irritate my skin. I also appreciate the fact that it’s unscented and truly fragrance free. It works fairly well as a shaving cream. It prevents razor burn and irritation. My biggest complaint is that it is pretty thick. It doesn’t foam up or lather the way some shaving creams or gels do, so I have to use quite a bit of it and go through almost half a container just to shave my legs once. Consequently, I have to buy it very frequently and it’s not cheap. I actually spend much more on shaving cream than I do on razors. Because it’s thick, it also tends to clog my shower drain, even when used sparingly, which is very annoying.

Loyal customer, Great product
I love this shaving cream. It's an actual cream that stays on your skin while shaving. Not a foam that rolls down your leg before you begin. No scent, no propolis. It feels like a lotion on the leg following shaving and rinsing.

Great for allergens but horrible smell
I don’t write a lot of reviews and very rarely do I write a negative one. Unfortunately, I can’t endorse this product. I love and my entire family uses all of the “regular“ Vanicream products, and have never had an issue. In fact they have been beyond helpful. I found out about 12 months ago, that I am allergic to a majority of the cleaning products, including Dawn dishwashing soap. Yes, the product that they use to get oil out of baby ducks, I am allergic to. Along that same lines, I found out recently that I am allergic to just about every single shaving cream. My go to was this vanicream but I couldn’t get past the smell. It smells like a an eaten bowl of Cheerios. That’s been sitting in the milk for an hour. I was able to find an old-school shaving puck that I am not allergic to. Hopefully vanicream will change something in the near future because all of the other products are fantastic. I would just avoid this one..

Best sensitive-skin shaving product I have ever used
This product is amazing. My skin is extremely sensitive to chemicals in shave cream such as oils, scents of any kind, etc. I have tried every sensitive skin product on the market without much success. One reason is that sensitive skin products, while not having "scents," always have "masking scents." Masking scents are just as bad for sensitive skin. Manufacturers put in masking scents because morons (like many of the people who gave this product scathing reviews) cant tolerate odors that affect their delicate sensibilities for a few minutes- even if it will prevent skin rashes, etc. For the record, this product clearly states that it has no scents or masking scents in its description. It does smell earthy, but I would rather tolerate this mild odor than suffer days of skin irritation. Second, it gives a great shave. You just need to rinse the blades more frequently (get over it ). Lastly, if this amazing product does not help your skin irritation, go and spend a bit more on a quality razor instead of taking your valuable time to write scathing reviews.
