This marble genius is well made and sturdy enough to withstand use and abuse. My grandson used this to expand his marble set and have an extensive set-up for a complex movement of several marbles at the same time.

The media could not be loaded. The designer didn't check if the product work or not. Certainly, the idea is great. Kid can see how it brings the marble up and it is nice. But all that only good IF it works! The motor is way too weak and slow, then they added extra friction on the top piece to make sure it is straight. Then they designed a top that spin with the weak motor. Everything add together, equal to rubbish, because if you build it correctly, it won't work.This is ridiculous. The company really should stop selling and make a new one that works with stronger and faster motor, and change the top design so it actually work.

We had to return the first one we got because the motor burned out after just a few minutes of using it. We just got the replacement and it’s working fine. We’ve had the same issues other people mentioned, like if you put the cap on the top all the way it blocked the auger from turning. The kids still love it, but I wish it was a little better designed and a bit faster.

My son opened this for Christmas and the smile that crossed his face was priceless. He immediately set this up and got building! He plays with it nearly everyday and creates very interesting tracks with this. I eventually bought him a second one to add to his collection! If you have a marble track, you must add this to it for extra fun.

We were excited to get this for our Marble Genius collection, but within minutes we realized there is NO WAY the 2 AA batteries pack will power the motor effectively, so we used the correct power cord (same as our phone) and within 3 minutes it stopped working, completely! I was really hoping it was just a single defective item, but the exact same defect happened to our replacement. The electric motor they used to run the auger is so under-powered that it burns out (even with no marbles in the tower) within minutes. I tried multiple cords and power adapter as well as outlets, and the unit never worked after the first few minutes. VERY INFERIOR QUALITY! I returned both items and would not recommend this at all.

1st one was broken when received. Replacement has been great. Works really well with other pieces.
