These are smooth and vibrant. Easy to use. Great for professional, student, beginner and children. My 10 year old niece likes them. Blending works perfectly but layering may be a problem. I’m new to oil pastels so it could be user error. Great price!! I will be purchasing there Macaron colors. Buy them for yourself or gift them to someone else either way these pastels will not disappoint.

Last year I was trying out different brands of oil pastels. Each one seems to work a little differently. I just got around to using these and boy are they fun! I can use cheap, rough paper and produce vibrant, easily blendable results for a great price. I wish I could get more white, but Ijust bought another pack that comes with 4. Love it!

These are great pastels. They are oily and blend pretty nicely. Are they professional? Probably not but will be great for beginners and advanced level alike. I am satisfied and would by them as a gift.

Liked the metal box they came in, colors are good assortment and are very easy to use, not alot of dust since they are oil based, however that makes them take longer to dry. Need to protect the surface from transfer with tissue paper until dry. Also need to spray with fixative to keep from smuging.

My main medium is watercolors, but every once in a while when I am frustrated with those, or don't even want to pick up a brush and start the process, I pick up a different medium to get out of my head and remember how much I love colors. I had a basic 24 pack of Faber Castell oil pastels, they work fine, but having only 24 colors is limiting and the coverage and blend-ability isn't great. I found this 48 pack and it was on sale for Cyber Monday. I paid around $15 and they are more than worth it. They color selection is fantastic to start. They are creamy and buttery on the paper and blend like it was what they were meant to do. Out of all the art supplies I've bought over the years, and it's been an embarrassing amount, these were the best money I've spent.

Good quality oil pastels, great range of vibrant colours. The pastels are soft but not so soft that I use them up too quickly and they blend really well. Really good value for money, I love them and will be buying them again.
