I really didn't know that digital scales are so inexpensive. I'd spent my adult life relying on an old rusty set of scales, the type with a dial you turn to make it zero because it drifts off everytime you come to use it. But I'd always thought all scales were quite expensive, let alone posh digital ones. I stuck with the ones I own because I guess I thought they at least let me know if I'd been overeating at Christmas, so why change it.I know a few people who are serious about maintaining a degree of bodily health, and own digital scales. After being shown some in use and told they cost less than I might think, I decided to invest in some. I do think they're a great idea and definitely improvement on the analogue type most of us own.Of course, Amazon stock a number of different brands, some well known and expensive, and other lesser known and cheaper brands. It's worth familiarising yourself a little with the listings because essentially they all do more or less the same thing. The differences are with design/quality of the scales and the app used.These particular scales I ended up choosing are very posh to look at, very informative, and slightly scary (more dog walking needed!). I feel very pleased with my choice!I did read around a number of products and product reviews before selecting these. I know, for instance, that on a whole the app and scales cannot give you a 100% accuracy on a number of the measurements. But applying logic, they're hardly an MRI scanner so of course certain measurements will be estimates! But they are highly useful to give you a general idea of your current state of physical play. I also know that people grumble about the measurements inaccuracies in virtually every set listed. I guess people expect these to be whole body scanners but they're not. There's going to be a limit to how accurately they can provide certain aspects of the information!The Feelfit app which these scales are designed for use with, is downloaded and set up in a couple of minutes. It's easily found on Google play. Not a huge amount of data is required; namely your email so that you can set up an account, your age, and your height. It's then a simple case of hopping onto the scales and letting them pair with your device (phone) and take your measurement. The app interface is easy to use and looks stylish, and it provides a range of features to help you get the most from your smart scales. I'm impressed by Feelfit. The Feelfit app provides so many measurements that I'm actually not even sure of the significance of some of them; I'm sure that some of the more health conscious and serious body trainers amongst us would be impressed.The app, as I just mentioned, comes back with a huge wealth of information. Some are going to be much more a guide measurement rather than a precise science, but the key measurements of weight and bmi (which are usually taken from a chart by health professionals), are accurate measureable data from the scales and your provided height.The other kinds of information that you will be provided with on each weigh-in include your basal metabolic rate, muscle and bone mass, protein, body type, fat free body weight, visceral fat... The list is more extensive than this but you get the idea! And it will certainly give anyone a good idea of their health as well as accurate data on weight and a handy chart for storing your weight measurements over time.Excellent not only for weight loss, but for fitness training and keeping tabs on maintaining a weight.The scales themselves arrive very well protected and very professionally packaged, with a nicely printed comprehensive guide for setting them up and successfully using them. Batteries are included. They look very stylish in a tempered glass and dark blue colourway.I feel that these scales are a good choice; well made, stylish, accurate weight measurements, good app providing a range of extra data and features, and a worthwhile price.

I honestly wasn't sure whether these scales would work, as they make a few bold claims (bone mass, body water content, fat content). However, I have to say, they work! Not only do they work accurately and easily, but I got my entire family on there to track their biometrics as well. I've attached a screenshot of my dad's readout... pretty impressive for an old man, he actually has better health than I do (which is fair, he actually exercises...)Anyway I digress. Get these scales if you're into your fitbit, health, tracking and all that kind of stuff. You won't be disappointed, in fact if you're a data geek like me then you'll be over the moon with the level of detail.

Really like the app and ease of use. I question some of the statistics which make no sense with the other measurement however the basics are great with a good tracker

The product I ordered was black. Instead I received a white one.Initially couldn’t see a way to change to stones but it’s there!It seems to be a quality product and easy to use.

Great scale when it works. The scale has suddenly become defective giving inaccurate results..I have only had it for 2 months so I am very disappointed

Lovely looking scales and works really well, very accurate. The app keeps track of everything although occasionally the bluetooth won't speak to the scales but that could be me!
