This is a great story with outstanding illustrations! My children thought it was one of the best Halloween books ever and now my grandson is enthralled with it as well. Really a classic and treasured by all of us.

A very cute book to read with your little ones. My son loves this book and so do I. It's very fun and the names of the items at the supermarket are so funny. This is especially great to read around Halloween.

I love this book! I had it as a child and bought it again as an adult. It still has all the magic I remembered. Very detailed illustrations are fun for little ones to pore over. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a magical Halloween themed book for their children.

Oh Martha! What a cute story!! With Halloween just a short time away, this is a great book to get your child in the festive mood! My daughter loves that Martha is dressed as a cat- how silly. The trip through the supermarket is fantastic! The illustrations have labels that my kids love reading, "apples with worms!!" is a hit. It's such a great story!!

This is a gentle Halloween book for children, full of humor.My one complaint is that is arrived with a terrible crease throughout the entire book.

I buy my grandsons books for each holiday and we read them when I babysit. This book was a lot of fun - the boys thought the groceries were grosss. Lots of "ew's. They will be reading this daily until Halloween and beyond.

Great book I remembered from my childhood! Funny pictures that got a snort from the parents even if the joke was a little too old for the kids!! Great quality for a used picture-book!! Happy purchase all around!!

Great story, perfect for around Halloween. Sweet little story about a supermarket just for witches (& their cats), but then a little girl happens upon the supermarket herself, you'll have to read the book to find out what happens when they realise the little girl isn't a witch and she's brought a dog with her!
