Misica Baby Safety Magnetic Locks (16locks+4keys)

Hands down one of the best purchases I've made. Ever. I ordered 2 sets and had them installed in under 30 minutes. One got yanked because my husband (who doesn't know his own strength) yanked one before I told them they were there but other than that I LOVE these safety locks. Now I am not limited to installing them on medicine cabinets and other types of doors that you can not a crew into and let's face it, no one wants to drill a bunch of holes in their cupboards anyway. Also, you can just flip a little switch and they won't lock so you can leave them there even after the kids get older.

We used these to keep our toddler out of kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room cabinets. They work great for keeping our 17 month old boy out of things he shouldn’t be in. They don’t however stop our 19 yr old beast so a son out. On a visit home he didn’t realize they were installed and pulled the door open popping one off the inside of the door. No damage was done to the door or the cabinet (traditional baby locks would have) and all it took was another adhesive strip and a “talking to” about how they worked to fix the problem.We bought this second set when we moved to a new house and needed it baby proofed because we liked them in our last house so much.

Once I figured out how to install the first one, the rest of them were a piece of cake. Our 2-5 y/o Grand kids couldn't open the cabinets with these on! Of course you don't want them to see where you put the magnet key. This order of 16 locks had 4 magnet keys which was great. The adults had their own key for when they needed them. Great idea!!!

Such a great concept, however, I have older kiddos in my house and sometimes they forget they have to use the magnet to unlock the cabinets. Therefore, Some of my locks have become broken and or unsecured from the cabinets. My husband is going to try this week to possibly screw they in place or get stronger adhesive to keep them in place. They do GREAT for keeping my 2 year old out of the cabinets though.

Product works as advertised. I have used others where you have to screw them in and then put your finger in and press down - those were more effective at keeping adults out. These were very easy to install and work great. They serve their purpose and when my son is old enough, I will remove them and should not be an issue. Only complaint I have is that the magnets are easy to break however that may because we need to stop dropping them.

These work well and this kit comes with an installation stencil where other sets leave you guessing. We've used these locks for a few years and they are awesome. We've only ever had one come off in a few years of using these, and it was when an adult that didn't know about the locks pulled on the cabinet until the adhesive came off.

I have a love hate for this product. For certain places, which is most, this works perfectly. Certain places this product doesn't work and its kind of where I need it the most. I like the idea of it, and where it does work, it works very well. I wish there was a stronger adhesive or something or more of it just in case.
