Great movie!!! Mel Gibson is excellent

This is 2020 and this movie was released in the theaters in 2002 so it is as of right now 18 years old and is now the first time while looking around on Amazon when I was made aware that this movie even existed and don't know how this movie got past me all these years because I am a big fan of Mel Gibson who plays a lieutenant in the movie. Look at the ratings look at the 5 stars 88% as I write this review.This movie is a true story and takes place in Vietnam. It is a war movie and what else really needs to be said about that . Lots of loud gunfire lots of men getting shot lots of blood (but this movie has nothing on the movie hacksaw ridge when it comes to blood and gore) . Lots of shouting of orders lots of young men who lost their lives over what but did what they did for "OUR" country because they were made to do so back in the day.Realistic and worth watching. Which I feel all Americans should see any war movie our American men and women have fought in I feel its the least we can do to see some of what they went through and if it becomes to hard to watch it we at least as we sit in our homes and on our comfortable chairs can shut it off it it becomes to much but when your a soldier you don't have that privilege. Recommend it to everyone and is rated R.

Done very well and a well informed movie to watch. I am a Mel Gibson fan of his movies. A very good movie to have about the early Vietnam War. I recommend this movie for those interested in this era. Glad I purchased the movie. No complaints.

A movie about war or battles can only 'tell' so much. If you now the true story of this division this movie gives a view, with the usual drama, of them, their battles and their roll in Vietnam.

Una extraordinaria película para los amantes del cine bélico. EL transfer a blu-ray no decepciona en cuestión de imágen, aunque podría ser mejor. Incluye algunos extras y escenas eliminadas aunque no se compara al material extra de la edición de 2 discos en Dvd que salió hace algún tiempo y que sólo incluía el audio original y Subtitulos en Español.Esta Edición en Blu-ray contiene el Audio en Español Latino Original que es una gran noticia después de escuchar los terribles nuevos doblados que están sacando en algunas ediciones nuevas como en el caso de Corazón Valiente o algunas de Disney. También incluye subtitulos en Español para quien guste de oirla en su idioma original.Algo también a considerar, es que se encuentra con bastante frecuencia disponible para envío rápido, yo la compré una mañana y ya por la tarde estaba disfrutándola cómodamente en mi sala.El envío llego sin problemas y en perfecto estado, eso sí, mi eterna queja es y siempre serán las nuevas cajas de reciclaje con la que estan llegando ahora las películas, y esta no fue la excepción.

Was enjoyable to watch with the action and portrayal of the characters

¿Qué se puede decir de este clásico que no se haya dicho aún? La imagen en 1080 mega pixeles se ve de lujo. Además, hasta este momento tuve la oportunidad de adquirir y ver esta película, ya que mi hermano mayor NUNCA me dejó verla (afortunadamente ya no vivo con él). Llegó un día antes de la fecha programada, ¡excelente!A continuación, las características técnicas de audio, y subtítulos:- audio original en inglés 5.1 dolby digital EX, e inglés 5.1 DTS digital surround;- subtítulos en inglés SDH, francés y español.Si quieres saber acerca del doblaje, dale zoom a las fotos, a mí no me interesa eso, es muy irrelevante e innecesario. Yo disfruto 100% las películas EN SU LENGUA ORIGINAL. Asimismo, apreciables compradores de películas físicas de Amazon, dejen de comentar que la película sería "perfecta" si estuviera "doblada al español". Eso es algo sin ninguna importancia. Cada vez que vea un comentario de ese tipo, lo voy a reportar, porque es demasiado desagradable esa clase de comentarios tan fuera de lugar.
