Portable Food Vacuum Sealer Machine with 10Pcs BPA-Free Reusable Sous Vide Bags Rechargeable Mini Handheld Food Storage for Preservation Cooking

This is my first vacuum bag kit and, on a budget.I first thought I'd try some salmon fillets for the freezer. You do need to be careful not to vacuum up meat juices into the machine but it has a buffer chamber to reduce this risk. I put 2 salmon fillets into ordinary food bags, then placed both into the vacuum bag. 20 seconds later....into the freezer. I did defrost one and the taste was exceptional.My goal was to vacuum food for Sous vide cooking. That kit arrived yesterday and this morning prepared a pack of potatoes using the vacuum. I wondered how it would retain its vacuum through cooking. It holds real well. All potatoes ready to be browned, cooked under vacuum, thanks to this. (See picture attached)Well, it worked for me, hence 5 stars. Great starter kit. Only thing I'd change is the on/off button is easily pressed if placed on a counter top so be aware of this but with care, this really isn't a major problem. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent product for any kitchen. The bags are very strong & keep food in fresh & secure once you use the vacuum sealer. I’ve tried so many different types of foods from cooked food to dry food & it’s all been fresh when I next have opened the bags to use it.

I bought this to mainly deal with sealing up coffee beans into small manageable bags and also to keep food sealed up when needed. I found the device for sealing to be good enough, if a little slow when removing air inside the bags. However, the motor does the job, so it's fine.Unfortunately, the downside here has to be the included bags, which have been a bit hit and miss. While some bags seal up and hold things well, I've definitely had at least three bags which lose their seal and let air in, e.g. I've sealed up a bag and it looks great, but I'll come back to it the following day and it's got air in the bag. Not good!Overall, it's a decent package deal which can work well. It's just a shame that some of the bags are a let down. It really goes against the whole point of the package when, some bags seem to have seals which fail after a handful of uses and will let air back into the bag. It's still a decent deal, but I'd probably want to check other products/packages if I was going to buy something similar again.

Love this, I never have to throw away veg that has gone off any more, keeps food fresh. I always put in a clear food bag first before I use the vacume bags, stops any leakage of juice that may come out

This is pretty nifty and you need to get the knack to it. Just have the bag flat and push down hard. It takes a wee bit, but all of a sudden it is done.It is great as cheap, rechargeable and renders the need for expensive machines obsolete.My fruit, meats etcwillstayfresherfor longer now.

Nice strong bags with vacuum pump that’s easy to use

I bought this little device thinking it wouldn’t be any good, but I was quite surprised by how well it works and the charge lasts a long time, I also bought additional bags and was happy I could use them as they seemed the same bags that came with this device…so overall very happy.
