The bash plate is both bullet proof and beautiful. It totally compliments the appearance of the bike and is much stronger than I anticipated. Installation was way easier and quicker than I anticipated. I opted to do one very simple modification and that was enlarging one of the bottom holes for easier access when removing the oil drain plug. Given that this product was half the price of some I'd looked at, I couldn't be happier! I've gotten lots of compliments and inquiries about what brand it is.

The instructions aren't very clear or complete. Take some time and think about it, it's not difficult. I needed to remove my foot peg mounts to adequately free up the crash bars. There is an online video where they guy cuts back his skid plate. Don't do it until you try loosening the crash barsI needed a third had for a second to attach the front mount.And I will probably create a slightly larger access space to reach the doo (balance shaft chain adjuster) if a tiny universal joint on a socket doesn't work.

Fits fine with SW Motech crash guards.Getting the rearward clamps on is tedious but it works.Lets you know exactly how many rocks would be hitting your engine.

Very easy installation. Super durable. And I mean you’re going have something on your bike so it either looks good or it doesn’t and this one looks tough in silver on a black KLR 650 engine.

The thing fits pretty well. What I don’t like is the use of Torx screws on the little clips that grab the frame rails at the rear. This adds another tool to my kit that has only this purpose.

didnt fit as well as i expected, the spacer for the front wasnt quite wide enough to allow the u bolt to tighten fully.went to the hardware store bought a strip of aluminum made up extra spacer.now it is nice and tight.the guard itself is very strong, doubt if it will cause any issues down the trail.
