Bright, sturdy and fantastic battery life
I bought this a couple of months ago and haven't needed to change the battery yet, and often it's switched on for a couple of hours per day.My dog has it attached to his harness, and it's set to flash mode when we go out for a run. I've tried many lights, with this one being the sturdiest and brightest. Highly recommended.

The item itself was great - snapped after few uses
I bought this for two purposes - to attach to my float when swimming and to clip on my dog’s harness. Unfortunately after having only used it a couple of times it snapped at the hinge joint and became useless. I was outside of the window to return.

Great lights for kayaking at night.
My wife and I have a red light (on the back of our PFD’s) and a white light (on the bow of our kayaks) each for night paddles with the local kayak club. They are very bright and totally waterproof with a good battery life… I think mine have been running in excess of six hours with no sign of the battery dying. My only issue is that they are a bit small. I got a cheap much larger white battery lamp out of Decathlon to supplement these on the principle that if it got wet, it would be cheap to replace. To conclude, these are great lights and worth having however you will want to have at least two and you may want to have a larger light as well to ensure you don’t get run down in the dark!

Absolutely waterproof, 36 hours in a river
Definitely waterproof. I use this to run with my dog by a river. She swims loads and it stays lighting despite many dunkings . Only issue is that it has unclipped on a few occasions with a vigorous shake. It fell off a few days ago and I saw it still flashing 36 hours later under the water and managed to retrieve it!

Latch may be faulty
Got this for my wife for open water swimming to attach to her tow float, she swims in poor dark and dull conditions in winter. Seemed good but was lost ie came disconnected on 1st swim not to be seen again. An expensive fifteen minutes , but can't say for sure but think the Caribbean clip failed .Update two days later my wife swimming buddy also has one of these lights hers also came adrift on 2nd outing but was spotted by another swimmer and retrieved.Definitely think there is a fault with the catch just to much of a coincidence.

Good
Good bright light, I purchased a red one. I use it to locate my dog in the dark, also for visibility when I am walking on a road in the dark. Would definitely buy it again for a similar need. Buy a red one if you need it for the same purpose as me - it doesn't interfere with your dark adaptation (eyes becoming used to the dark) so much

Bright small very useful little light. Easily seen.
We use the light as a guide for my wife to swim towards at the small pool we use regularly. The light is safe to site at one end and allows her to swim in a straight line as she is visually impaired. It was just what we needed.
