It really is amazing machine. Once i've own and old one and this new singer is really what I want. And it is exactly the same what you read in description. Stitch is amazing , pedal is smooth and easy to fix it together all pieces. Thank you Amazon.

Great for beginners

Great machine, dreadful customer service
I am overall happy with my purchase. But... when I first began to use it, it kept jamming up, have contacted Singer for assistance, I telephoned them, they said I had to e mail, they acknowledged my e mail and 10 weeks later I’m still waiting for them to come back to me. Someone had a look at it and did the easy fix but the customer service was very shabby indeed. The machine is lightweight but will see through quite thick material. Once I got it working properly I’ve been very happy with it. It’s very easy to thread and use.

Fantastic value
I needed to replace my old Singer sewing machine as the motor was showing signs of wear. I bought the old one 58 years ago!I had no hesitation in opting for another Singer after all those years' service! The new one is much lighter and has a carrying handle. It does exactly what I need being small repairs, hems, modifications etc., It is of course, quite capable of dealing with much larger sewing tasks such as curtains or dressmaking etc.,Once I got used to the new shuttle it was a breeze. I would 100% recommend this machine and hope it serves you well.

This product is not for use in UK
I am amazed that Amazon are continuing to sell this product. The Singer brand is great. My old machine is a Singer Promise and I love it, which is why I need to replace with the same brand. Issues are: The power plug is a continental two prong plug. There is NO ENGLISH in the instruction handbook. This product should NOT be sold in the UK. I’ve left a message for the seller with no response. I’ve spoken to Amazon Customer Service with no joy. I’ve returned the product and bought the same model at the same price from the Singer website

This sewing machine has great quality. It is really easy to use, if you have questions about how to use it the manual is always helpful. I used it already to fix some jeans, made several cushions and fix some garments. I love it!
