Peroxide-free gel is revolutionary formula due to it's use of bicarbonate as the active whitening ingredient. Rather than using peroxide, which gives great whitening but can also cause sensitivity and gum irritation over time, peroxide-free gel gives comparable whitening results but without the side-effects. The fantastic gel formula also contains fluoride and natural plant extracts - these help to strengthen enamel, protect against decay, and help fight gum disease and bad breath whilst you're whitening: so now you can get healthier teeth at the same time! Did you know there has recently been laws passed in the EU (including the UK) which bans the sale and use of peroxide based teeth whitening products? Anything above 0.1% peroxide is now illegal. Your dentist can use up to 6% in his dental surgery - but they will charge you a fortune for this! All of our zero peroxide products will whiten your smile just as effectively - and they are legal! The gel in this kit does not release any harmful peroxide gases. Approved for use in the EU.
