This is my first monocular telescope and I am rather impressed with the design. It is solidly constructed and has everything I wanted to get started (phone mount, extendable tripod, durable travel case with dense foam). The zoom and focus adjustment are intuitive and have enough resistance to stay where you place them.The covers are thick and flexible enough that I have confidence in them lasting for a long period of time.They could add a leash to the covers so they stay with the monocular, and the tripod could be a bit more robust, if I am picking out places for improvement. The telescope uses a standard threading that allows me to use it with all of my camera tripods, which is nice.The company is responsive, and did send me this unit for review, but these are my honest opinions of the product.

This is a wonderful piece of work. Very strong and you can grip it with your favorite hand. Adjust the vision and you are ready to go. I am excited to see the dolphins when I go to the beach.

Good scope, but too heavy to hold in your hand for more than a few minutes. Comes with a tripod, but it is only 6” high and not usable if you’re standing.

Very disappointed in this item, is extremely shaky so hard to focus, does not zoom in far away

Basically works as an eyepiece but is almost impossible to use for photos. Too tedious to align and the phone cannot really be tightened securely in the narrow plastic arms. This is further complicated by the focusing mechanism of the eyepiece which may need to be adjusted. I tried for about 20 minutes and never came close to getting it right.If you do get it lined up, the process will need to be repeated again the next time you use it. And you will still get a circular crop on the final image.

I’m a beginner for birdwatching, this monocular actually meet my needs, recommended.

I really love this monocular! Great look, sturdy body (may have dropped it a couple times and no dents or scratches) I absolutely love the tripod and phone holder to take pictures. The set up is quite easy without the instructions, but if you need them they are there! also comes with a rather nice carrying case to protect the monocular and attachments when not in use. It was great to use for watching the wildlife around my home and the 12 X-25 X zoom is FANTASTIC and easy to switch between!
