Having used Braun electric toothbrushes for the last 15 years, I wish I could have given this iteration more stars. On paper it looks great: wire-free brushing whilst traveling for more than the 2 weeks one gets from the full electric Braun's.Batterie (re)placements were not as difficult as described by some reviewers - in fact it was easy and fast. I was also pleased that my normal brushes fit on the batterie operated model. However, the intensity of oscillation lets this device down, coupled with the fact that batteries do not last much longer than a fully charged electric one.Teeth simply do not feel as 'clean' after a brush with this batterie-operated model compared to the (admitidly more expensive) electric Braun Oral B's. So from now on, I will take my regular electric one with me on travels, plus the small charger. By the way, combined, they are also lighter!. So, do yourself a favour, and by one of the excellent Braun Oral B electric toothbrushes with higher oscillation. Over the course of a year, you will have saved the price difference by not having to buy batteries all the time...

I am still to be 100 percent impressed with these battery operated toothbrushes but this is as comfortable as it can be. For me, manual will always be best but as I have been told that I have sensitive gums, this was recommended to me by a friend and it is quite comfortable.

Bought this a few weeks ago and very pleased with the quality of it, just need to get some more heads for it now (they're not cheap). I can see where other people have found the base fragile when replacing batteries as the casing is thin, but being careful should solve that. Loads of power from a battery powered item and it does a good job, I'd definitely recommend it. Previously I bought one from Lidl, it lasted two weeks and was a total waste of money, nothing like the quality of this one.

Bought this to take on holiday in Australia and it's brilliant, not quite as powerful as an electric brush but the next best thing, very satisfied though

Arrived in good time and we'll packaged. It takes a bit of getting used to having the round head as opposed to the normal toothbrush head but cleans my teeth nevertheless. Came with Durracell batteries as a bonus.

These toothbrushes are very hard to put batteries in. Despite the instructions we had great difficulty in getting the bottoms off to put the batteries in. God knows what will happen when they need new batteries. We are both elderly and found them very hard.
