Easy task when you have the right tool.
Our 9 year old had his braces poking into his mouth. Ortho was closed due to the Covid Pandemic and they suggested using a nail clipper. After failed attempts with a wire cutter and nail clipper, this instrument saved the day in less than 30 seconds. The wire (about 3mm) was clipped and held in place. Very easy to use and we weren't worry about cutting his inside of his mouth. He was worried about the clipping falling down his throat, but it wasn't a concern after we found it on the tool.

Life saver!
It took some time to figure out how to use these, but once I did, it was the best $10 I’d ever spent! I had four teeth pulled before getting braces to make room for my big teeth and fix crowding. As those gaps closed, the wire would become too long and cut into my lip. Wax wouldn’t stay on longer then a few minutes and talking became miserable. I started to just get used to the taste of blood. Then I got theses and after lots of practice, I was able to clip the wire myself. My Orthodontist is across town and even a simple 5 minute visit to have wires cut took at least an hour out of my work day. They don’t seem to be anywhere near the quality of the ones my orthodontist has, but they did the job I needed and for a great price!

...shattered the first use.
This probably won't pass the bogus sensitivity filter: First use they shattered in my mouth throwing shards of metal into my mouth. These are not safe to use as they are not made to cut wire as advertised. Do not buy these..

It broke on the first day.
It broke on the first day :( I was using it to cut the wire sticking out the back part of my braces.

Simple!
It is so simple to use! I bought it to use on my son because we were constantly having to go to the orthodontist to cut wire that was coming out. He has one tooth on top of his gum that is moving often. I recommend this to any mom that is having to sit at appointments for long hours just to get a simple wire cut.

works
I was skeptical but found ourselves right before thanksgiving with wires stabbing my daughter in the back of both sides of her mouth. This enabled us to get back there and remove the excess amount since we couldn't get ahold of the dentist. It took a bit to figure out how to do it and not pinch the inside of her cheek so have patience but it will work

no sharp
I worked as an orthodontic assistant for 5 years, I tried to cut my daughter's wire and the cutters are not sharp. I wasn't aware of this and wouldn't have bought them had I know.

Device broke and didn’t cut wire
Did not work for me. A piece of the device broke off in my mouth while trying to cut the wire. Didn’t cut the wire at all.
