The best CAT clone
Extremely similar to the NAR CAT tourniquets, but far better quality than the other "RANDOM LETTERS" companies that clone the CAT tourniquet with the distinctive red/black pattern. The other clones would make you twist the windlass about 5-15 times and snap on you, but this one performs pretty much the same as a NAR CAT with only needing about 2-3 turns (self application). The plastic flimsiness of these tourniquets are pretty much also the same as the CAT. The only thing that's really different is the windlass design. The overall design and performance are so close, NAR could probably sue for copyright infringement. Even the instructions sheet is crazy similar. Stockpiling on these might not be a bad idea if you also think they're that good at around $7 ea.Currently there are about 3 YT videos showing that it does hold up, but the brand is not relatively known or tested, which is probably why there is so much hate on it (other than being made in China). All this really needs is to be battle tested and a CoTCCC review/approval, which is heavily unlikely for a Chinese made product. If I ever use this in the field (hopefully not), I will likely add an edit if I remember to. Will still keep real CAT and SAM XTs on me cause things happen. Looking at their scrollbar in product description, it states that they only recently in 2020 started to sell to consumers.

Seems good so far
These tourniquets were recommended to me by a coworker as a cheaper alternative to a CAT tourniquet. So far handling these and using them in a training environment, they seem just as capable as a CAT tourniquet.

Good to have
Always a good idea to keep one in your car and camper. This is a well made CAT.

A potential ifesaver
As an older person on blood thinners, I'm always concerned that a serious cut could have life-threatening consequences. With one of these at home and another in my car, I feel more confident that I could control such a situation until help arrived.

Looks good
To clarify I am giving this tourniquet four stars only, because I haven’t used it. Unless you live in a really bad part of town a tourniquet isn’t something that requires frequent use. That being said, the RHINO appears to be well made, and durable. I gave it five stars for price because compared to other CAT’s I have from 5.11 (they’re readily available where I live, not because I like 5.11) this one was about half the cost and is identical in function. I will be buying a couple more in the next week or so.

Seem decent
I picked several up for a class where I needed several. Absolutely zero issues and no broken windlass or buckles. I generally stick with genuine CAT 7 but this appears to be a viable alternative. Even attaching two together and pulling hard to act as a junctional binder they survived.
