highly recommended to those who want to take the pe exam

Outdated, yet advertised as current.
This book is outdated. The solutions use a far outdated test handbook, meaning current test takers do not have the equations used by this book available for the exam. Also the questions are far harder than those on the test, making me wonder if the authors have lost touch with the test content. All said, preparing for the PE exam using this book has been extremely frustrating.

Average
Answers are missing a lot of explanation and only giving explanation of 3/4 of the problem. Very confusing

Most Lindenburg books are a waste.
This book has a ton of errors, notes equations are in the NCEES handbook yet it's not. I spent way too much time redoing problems only to find out the book was the one wrong. If you're going to take the PE I highly suggest looking for other references.

No errata available?
The book is full of practice problems but so far I have found some problem solutions that are incorrect. However I cannot check the errata because PPI makes you upgrade to the digital version of their books to see it! How lame is that. If I buy your book and there are errors I expect to be able to know those, not have to pay extra.I've also found solutions that reference equations that are not in the latest (2019) version of the NCEES reference manual. All in all a good resource for lots of practice problems but you have to realize that some problems will have low utility since they use either equations that you won't have in the test or have questionable solutions that you cannot verify without an errata.

Not great
My biggest complaint is that the problems are written using the 2017 NCEES Chemical Reference Handbook and not the 2020 version, which is current. I'm working through the first section and have found several problems that are solved using equations that are not in the 2020 Reference Handbook. Others have said the problems from this text are more difficult than the actual PE problems and I believe it. Probably a decent primer, but I would just go with the NCEES practice exam and the PPI2PASS review book if I could do it again.
