This is the first security camera I have tried. After thinking for a while I decided it was a good idea to put a security camera in the house when we are away on holidays. I liked this model because I was looking for something waterproof to put in the entrance of the house.Setting it up took me a while as I was trying to do it via wifi. First I installed the VK app on my iPad but after a few failed attempts trying to get connected via wifi, I connected the camera to the rooter directly via the ethernet cable provided and then I managed to establish a connection between the app and the security camera. Once you manage to connect them, you will be able to connect the camera via wifi from other parts of the house.You can take the iPad or phone and go anywhere and you will be able to see what is happening back home. The recorded videos can also be stored in the app. The quality of the video is quite good and you can distinguish people clearly. One thing to take into account is that you will need a micro SD card to use the camera.Another feature that this camera offers is the possibility to see the screen from different angles.

A cheap but good video surveillance camera. I did not expect this image quality for this price. We have hung it in the dining room this weekend and we are delighted, it works perfectly, as it is described.The camera is sturdy and pretty because of this it does not matter if you want to hang it in the interior it looks good, for what I wanted it, it serves me and meets my expectations. I recommend it.

I bought this as I was looking for an ONVIF security cam I could use on my Synology NAS. A well packaged product, seems sturdy enough, and favourably comparable with many others I've seen. 5 minutes after delivery I had unpacked the cam, connected to my network, and was viewing it via Surveillance Station on my Synology.I had no need to refer to the included instructions, which some on here suggest are dire. I found connecting to my network, hardwired or wirelessly, very straightforward. Whilst access to video on my Mac is not supported in the browsers, I only needed browser access to the camera in order to configure for wireless, and to change the admin password. Once connected I access the live and recorded video using Synology Surveillance Station software on mac/pc, and also set up all other features such as motion detection/recording scheduling and footage reviewing/exporting. I am also using Synology apps on the iPhone and .More than happy with the build and image quality. Both hard wired and wireless setups were a breeze.Given I'm using Synology Surveillance Station software, both on my iPhone and computers, to access the features, I can't really comment about the Vikram app etc.All good here

This is a fantastic security camera for outdoor which I have fitted outside the upstair front bedroom window as the wires are too long but enough from the socket in the bedroom. It has a clear view for my front drive. I am very please with the product. Just love it.

I attached to my POE switch & didn't receive power at all. I checked with other POE camera & cable fine. Just not with this W3 product. I asked for help from seller - no answer. So I returned. As a wireless camera with separate power cable I found it to be quite good & stable for wireless even better without. The online Vikcam app also worked well on my phone & I was able to view remotely. It just wasn't POE - the reason I bought it & I detest no answer to a question. If they had responded at all, I would have probably kept it

Picture qlty is 100%. Setting up is ok. Disappointed that no audio on video's. It was a prsent, I may have researched it more If I was buying it.But as a simple camera to use on my phone to watch my dog when I am out it does the job.

The camera is nice and compact. Due to the size its easy to hide it in thr corner of a wall. Setting up and connecting the camera was easy and the quality of recording is good. Happy with the night vision as well.

The quality is very good and easy setup,when I go to holiday,I can see my house about anything!
