Small and sturdy nightstands
Always measure before ordering something online. This is a beautiful, classy-looking pair of end tables. I received the solid black version. They look great beside a bed, and have enough space for a small lamp, a glass of water, your glasses, a small knick-knack, and a book. I believe it would easily hold the 40 lbs the listing advertises, although I would expect some of that to be placed on the bottom shelf as well. The bottom shelf easily holds a pair of shoes or boots, or a small trash can, or storage boxes, or perhaps a stack of D&D campaign guides.I have several small gripes, but the tables look very nice, aren’t wobbly, and really fit basically anywhere, so I’m not taking away any stars.Size. This side table is literally smaller in all dimensions than an average wooden folding tv tray. (Photo included) It is sturdier and nicer looking, though. Definitely a better-looking and more permanent table. The listing says it would work as a printer stand, but I believe this would only work for a small printer, or a thermal printer only made to print labels. It is definitely not large enough to hold my printer (which is probably 8 years old at least. It’s possible they don’t make printers as large as they used to). (Photo included)The item arrived without assembly instructions. The item box was filled with styrofoam (the brittle squeaking kind) in very small pieces and every piece was wrapped in a plastic bag. It felt like they were attempting to be efficient at the cost of being extremely wasteful. After taking everything out of the box, I had a large pile of metal pieces that to be fair, did not stack together well.Almost every piece has a numbered sticker on it somewhere, haphazardly slapped on, usually crooked. I understand that this is to help with assembly, but the stickers are not in discrete locations, nor are they easy to remove. They leave glue residue that will take some scrubbing to completely remove. Otherwise your new end tables will look scuffed anywhere there is a sticker. (If you check the photos with the listing, you will see where the stickers are. Thankfully none were on the tabletop)Assembly.I was able to figure out how the tables went together by looking at the listing photo. The only complications were that there was a metal bar that I discovered goes across the bottom middle of the tabletop to add stability. Also there were two sizes of screw. The shorter ones are used only in the very center to connect the table legs at the middle. The long screws are used everywhere else. All of the pieces *almost* didn’t go together. The screws would be difficult to start, but as soon as they did catch the groove, they would go in like a dream. The tool to fit into the tops of the screws (hex key) always took a second to fit into it, as if it wasn’t exactly the right shape, but once it found the spot, again, worked perfectly. The metal pieces had to be shoved or pulled to fit in a couple of places, but even the piece that looked too bent managed to fit into the other half of the frame without causing any issue or lack of sturdiness in the frame.Getting the top to screw into place with a screw at each corner did take some coaxing and physical effort to get the bar and top into place for the last screw (both times) but once it went into place… perfect.Summary:The end tables are small, but they are sturdy and look classy and professional once you’ve got them put together and removed all the stickers and sticker glue.

Decent nightstands - do what they are supposed to.
● Design: 4/5 ○ Ease of setup: 4/5 ■ Setup/Assembly: 5/5 ● The assembly was easy. ■ Instruction: 4/5 ● I pretty much knew how to put these nightstands together just by looking at the part and the pictures of the product. There wasn’t much text in the instruction but the pictures could be helpful. ○ Practicality: 5/5 ■ The design and the fact that it’s a set of two makes it versatile. You can use one or put two together if need be. ■ The non-slip foot pads help protect the floor from scratches. ○ Color/Aesthetic: 4/5 ■ The night stands are all black. ■ The design is simplistic/industrial looking. ○ Size: ■ Each nightstand is 15.75” L x 11.75” D x 23.5” H ○ Material: 3/5 ■ The table top is made of nice, sturdy wood. ■ Be careful when you put the legs together because the legs are easy to get crooked where the joinings are. However, once they are put together, they are stable. ■ The mesh part of the bottom shelf is a bit bouncy, so maybe don’t put too heavy items on the bottom shelf. If your item covers the outer rim, the support should be stronger.● Performance: 4/5 ○ Sturdiness: 4/5 ■ One night stand supports my printer of 41.2 lbs just fine (on top). I have to put 2 nightstands next to each other since my printer is big (16.7 x 18.7 x 13.3 in) - see last picture.● Packaging: 4/5 ○ The set of two nightstands came in a cardboard box with an assembly kit and the installation manual.● Overall: 4/5 ○ Decent nightstands - do what they are supposed to.

Looks good, decent enough but not very substantial either - consider pushing the two together
I ordered these tables to replace a shoddy wooden dresser I was using to store items and as a printer stand. I was relieved to be able to replace that printer stand/dresser, but I noticed some issues that will be discussed below.I will say that DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF PRINTER YOU HAVE, you may not actually be able to use a single one of these end tables as a printer stand. They have a smaller top, and if you own a multifunction printer, such as one that can scan, copy, fax, and print which tend to be on the larger side, if you were to place this on a single end table as illustrated in the photos, the printer would hang over the edges and the entire setup would be quite top-heavy and feel unstable. However, if you were to push the set of two end tables together to create a larger single unit, then you'd be able to house a multifunction printer on it just fine. Combining the two units creates a structure that would be sturdy enough if you own a larger printer. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Components were labeled with stickers allowing for ease of assembly, which was a relief and prevented the assembly becoming a time-consuming or confusing struggle where you try to figure out which part is which. While there isn't anything particularly wrong with this item and these nightstands look good, are easy to assemble, and seem well constructed, I wouldn't say these stands are the most sturdy or functional. They are very minimalist and streamlined, with thin railings and a thin and smaller top, but that means they aren't particularly substantial. It would probably be fine on a hard floor, but on a carpet, if you placed a heavy item on top, like maybe a larger sculpture or vase, you'd kind of get the sense the arrangement would lack stability or could be easily toppled. I own a few other end tables with thicker legs and that feel more weighty that wouldn't have this issue. I would not really use these end tables individually to display anything valuable on a carpeted surface - if you must use them like, consider pushing the two together for more stability.Next comes functionality and storage potential. There are no drawers, and there is a single mesh shelf on the bottom closer to the floor. These are advertised as nightstands, but I imagine most people would want to keep a few items next to their bed in a drawer, for either privacy reasons or easy access. Without a drawer and with a very minimal surface area at the top, you'd either have to store things by placing them on that single shelf closer to the ground, or by squeezing them all on the limited space at the top, where it could get crowded if you intended to place a bedside lamp there. This doesn't leave you with much storage, and the big gap between the shelf at the bottom, and the top of the table is just empty space that could have been better utilized. This item would have delivered more value if the designers just added at least 1-2 more shelves in the middle.I'd say this set is fine if you are willing to combine the two units together to function as a printer stand for a larger multi-function printer, or need them to furnish a guest room where they get used sparingly by guests who won't be using them long-term and probably will just rest a glass of water on them and maybe a book and their phone, or as basic end tables in a room with a hard floor. I wouldn't use a single one individually for a multi-function printer stand, or use it on a carpeted surface to display anything weighty like a larger potted plant, especially not in areas with higher foot traffic where I can imagine someone knocking them over. These tables can feel flimsy and less functional depending on context, so it's good for a consumer who may not be expecting much other than an attractive table to hold a smaller lamp and/or a few items, but probably not an ideal product for anyone who expecting to use them with higher frequency or on a carpeted surface.

Perfect for small spaces.
These are neat, simple end tables for a room or a small apartment or even for 3d printing hardware. They assemble fairly easily but if they aren't leveled, they will rock a little bit once tightened down.
