I've used this meter to ensure my ferments are at the correct pH level and safe to eat. The instructions are detailed on a laminated card in a heavy duty box with foam inserts for the probe, buffer solutions and storage solution. We will see how long the probe works but I expect it to be a very long time.

Great item. Flour directions and instructions. Test on an item. Use every few weeks or so to prevent recalibration.(Which reminds me. Lol) Perfect product!

Meter shows temp and pH. I found the instructions useful and the meter was easy to calibrate. I make hot sauces and salsa in our commercial kitchen, and when our high end meter went down this week I was out of luck. This will make an excellent daily meter, and I will save the high end unit for double checking calibrations. Excellent value. Nice kit. Make sure you buy extra calibration solutions.

The product looks good. It comes with 3 powdered testers, which you can dissolve in water and use to calibrate. There's also a colorful supplement with pictures and text (in English), featuring excellent- in other words, simple, clear, and understandable- instructions for the product.I read that some users had problems with calibration- mainly with the 10.01 pH solution. I didn't experience such an issue- everything went exactly as described in the user manual.However, I have serious doubts about the accuracy of the readings provided by this pH meter.Despite following the calibration instructions exactly- as soon as I calibrated it with 7, then 4, and finally 10.01 pH- I immediately tested all three solutions again. It showed slight deviations. It did not read any of these solutions with perfect accuracy, and- as I said- this happened just a minute after calibration, in the same solutions, at the same temperature.That's why I’m giving the product 4 stars- for now.I’m still considering whether to return it, but I’m leaning toward keeping it, because the alternative is to buy a higher-quality product- for at least five times the price, which is a bit much for me (personally).Besides, I will be using the product to test the pH of fermented meat (for dry salami/charcuterie, roughly speaking). The range I’m aiming for is 4.9 to 5.2 pH (for fermentation), and I hope that- even if this pH meter is slightly off- it will still give me some idea of the general range I'm in. Better than nothing, right?

This hand-held pH indicator is not only portable, cable-free, and ergonomically friendly, but its probe allows for easy and accurate, quick testing of emulsions, gels, and liquids. I was trained never to have a bulb exposed to air with the device on for fear of the bulb exploding. Even though that is the way I use this one, a chef friend was helping me with a recipe and he was pulling the indicator in and out of the liquid base sauce he was making without turning the unit off before withdrawing the probe from the liquid. Nothing bad happened to the pH indicator.I was using the indicator to read the pH of an agar-based media last night, and I realized that it was taking some time to gradually reach a stable number. I was tired and noticed there was a tiny ring on top of the unit for a wire or rod to be inserted and support the unit without having to hand-hold the unit.All good. This is a wonderful pH indicator. Accurate, Acceptably Fast, Easy to Use, Fits nicely into the hand, Cleans up super fast! BUY IT!!!

Very disappointed!After maybe 20 times of use as described the probe got out of calibration and out of use ! Replaced to the other one and the other one got bad also!
