hr-imotion compass [Self-adhesive | Easy to mount] - 10310601 - Black

This is a nicely made piece of equipment but it is much smaller than the impression given by the advertising pictures (should have paid more attention to the small print) and at the end of the day, it is just too small to see clearly when mounted on the dashboard of a large saloon car. Happy to pay twice the price for something three times bigger.

These are okay if you mount in a correct location within the vehicle; sounds obvious but reading other reviews here, lots of people have...it has to be well away from any EMF [electro magnetic force] to have any chance of working. In my motorhome its now mounted on the upper windscreen blind rail cover, slightly right of centre. This funnily enough is where the compass is located in my PA28 Cherokee!!Works well but anywhere near the dash board, no chance..

It looks okay. Works okay initially. I found that the internal float began to to stick after a few weeks. Now it will only show the direction if I tap it hard a few times to dislodge the floating compass inside. Shame because it could have been good value for money if it worked properly.

This is small and cheap, but then again it was cheap, but can not argue that it does it's job, therefore can not complain, 3 stars due to low end of the spectrum as far as compasses are concerned.

The compass works perfectly, but has white film on the inside of the glass,which is very noticeable,I'm dissapointed I can't contact seller to resolve this problem.

Working fine would be better with light built in for night driving. I used to have one that when the top was a pressed it illuminated

Works ok but not very accurate . Needs to be stuck on highest point possible ( for my bike it was the brake resovoir ) .

Adhesive fell off during a small heatwave in a black car. Worked fine up until then.
