SilverlineMagnetic Base 235mm (598458)

I use this with a dial test indicator to check the squareness of my table saw fence, and to measure when I am taking off very small cuts. The magnetic base is strong and switches off/on easily, also the various adjustments in the arm allow you to get to any angle

The Silverline 598458 Magnetic Base arrived on time and was well packed,the base is well engineered and dose the job it is intended to do. Silverline products are usually quite reasonable quality for the price.The magnetic base holds firm to flat and round surfaces and the fittings are adaptable to most gauges.

All as expected

Well made unit with a fairly small footprint & V grooved base to fit on cylindrical parts.I liked the spring loaded adjuster on the dial gauge arm to facilitate zeroing the gauge without disturbing the setting or displacing the gauge when using the bezel on the gauge.

Have not used it yet,but looks up to its intended use.

Very poor quality base. Its uneven which means the damn thing rocks back and for which makes it useless for measuring anything. Very disappointed, its not a hard thing to get right... just needs to be flat. I'd try a different brand.

C''est un outil très utile. Certains on eu des difficultés avec la puissance d'accroche magnétique, mais pour ma part, je trouve cela suffisant. C'est stable et mon comparateur tient très bien sur la tige de fixation. Le tout est bien rigide pour faire des mesures de manière confortable. Bonne finition, prix attractif... What else ! ! !

Oggetto ben fatto, solido con calamita sufficientemente forte, svolge bene il suo lavoro, acquisto consigliato,servizio amazon efficiente come sempre e rapidissimo.

Viel Plastik. Habe meinen zurückgeschickt. Man muss die Schrauben sehr vorsichtig anziehen. Für den Preis und den gelegentlichen Einsatz aber ausreichend.

Envio recibido antes de lo previsto. Quizá la base tenga un acabado algo basto, pero cumple perfectamente su cometido. El ajuste fino es de gran utilidad. Los pomos de plástico son solidos. El precio es mas barato que en muchas tiendas internacionales de eBay (fijaos que es el mismo modelo bajo diferentes marcas)
