Easy to assemble
The rest on the right side was a little weak and kept falling off however good value for money

Good unit spoilt by flimsy wire brush rest
Unit seems well made but the rest plate on the wire brush side is flimsy and poorly mounted making its use whilst brushing impossible.

Decent machine.
This really is a decent little machine. The fit finish appears to be very good (you can also find the same machine in white, badged as an Axminster). The wheels are good quality and there is little vibration when it gets up to speed. The only stand out budget parts of it are the tool rests which are just pressed steel and bendable between thumb and finger should you be seized with a sudden urge to try.All in all though, for the price you can't really argue and it seems capable of dealing with all the usual d.i.y. tasks that come the way of 'blokes in their sheds' and running so smoothly, it will not cause ripples in your tea mug.

Worth having
I'm retired, and although I've used grinders throughout my life I've never owned a bench grinder before, so as for making one up out of the box, I'm a beginner. When assembled, the grinder does the jobs I bought it for a treat, but, the instructions given with the grinder are sadly lacking. To do the job I had to google for pictures of the same to copy from, although once made up I thought, "Where did I go wrong?".What I'm saying to Sealey is, I little bit more thought for the novice would do a treat, making it up wrong can cause accidents to happen, hence me only giving it 4 stars.Apart from my moan regards installation instructions, it's a treat to own a Sealey Bench Grinder and I would recommend to anyone.

Well made and sturdy, but fiddly to assemble the accessories
This is my first bench grinder, and this machine looks good quality, robust and operates quietly and smoothly. As others have said though it is fiddly to attach the eye protectors and tool rests. Pity there isn't a section in the manual showing how these items are attached, particularly when safety is important. Can anyone post pictures of how to attach the spark deflectors?

Why no instructions ?
I found it annoying that the product came with a "Thank you" card, asking you to buy other products from the same manufacturer but came without decent instructions. Sealey supplied the item well packaged but with a bag of bits to fit to the machine but neglected to include pictures or instructions on how they should be fitted and more importantly, where. The machine works, but then again it should do, gaining it only 3 stars, but life would have been so much easier had there been some quality assurance on the complete package. Why would I want to purchase Sealey again?

Pretty good
Not a bad grider, holds up to heavy use. Atachment to a bench is near impossible and instructions are hopeless without very careful examination. Overall pleased with this, there are far better out there but also far worse
