Works great out of the box
I bought this along with aBTF-LIGHTING AC100-240V to DC12V6A power supply and a BTF-LIGHTING 5050 RGBW LED strip, after lots of research and a certain amount of educated guessing, and that combination worked flawlessly for me out of the box. The remainder of this review assumes you have that specific combination of components. The LEDs come with a cable that connects the pin sockets on the end of the strip to individual wires suitable for insertion into the controller. When inserting each wire, pay attention to the wire color! The order of red and green is switched on the controller relative to the pin order on the LED strip, so you'll need to cross-wire the wires. The colors of the wires in the cable that comes with the LED strip matches the pin order on the strip, so just attach the red wire to the "R" socket on the controller and the green wire to the "G" socket, and you'll be fine (unless you're red-green colorblind, in which case, best of luck!). The controller also comes with two sockets marked V+ (power). Attach the black wire to one of them and leave the other one empty. This advice probably applies to the RGBW controller that has a remote control too, but I can't say for sure.If nothing happens when you plug it in, make sure the plug between the wall socket and the power brick is firmly inserted. It took a fair bit of persuasion for me to get it fully seated. The controller comes with an instruction sheet that assumes you're using a specific third-party Zigbee hub and smart home app, so I mostly ignored it. The only relevant instruction is to press the button on the controller four times in quick succession to make it register itself with your Zigbee hub. Once I did that, it immediately showed up in my name-brand home app, the name of which I will not mention because the company seem to dislike it when people mention using third-party components with their hub, and I want to avoid unnecessary Hue and cry. Suffice it to say it works great with that system, though.Inserting the wires into the individual sockets was a little fiddly and requires a small straight-slot screwdriver of the sort you might get with a glasses kit. I was honestly a little surprised when I turned it on and it all worked, because I couldn't push the wires very far into the sockets. But they stayed in place when I screwed them down, and apparently that's enough. Using the cable that came with the LED strip, I didn't have to strip the wires at all to make that work.I was honestly not expecting the controller to just work on the first try, so I was very pleased when it did!

Works great with Govee RGB LED Strips
Just wanted to share that this controller will work with Govee light strips. There doesn't seem to be much documentation on Govee specifically, so I took a chance and I'm glad that I did. You can even use the original Govee power supply with no modification. The setup is super easy. In my case, I used a basic Govee H615A RGB strip for this application. One thing to note is that the wiring colors for the Govee lights are as follows: 12V = Red, G = white, R = green and B = black. You can see my connections in the pic of the controller. When I first connected it, I had the green and white wires reversed. This is easy to check and correct once you have it hooked up, by using whatever app you choose to set individual colors and seeing if they match what they should be. The controller is easy to set up and pair with Home Assistant Zigbee ZHA. The color control and brightness work perfectly. You can even choose the startup color within ZHA if desired. Overall, I'm very pleased that this works as I can convert all of my Wi-Fi LED strips over to Zigbee. This was just a test, as I'll be converting some RGBIC strips as well. I'll be ordering some additional controllers.

Works with hubitat
C01Z LEDEasy to set up, and best of all works with Hubitat using the "Generic Zigbee dimmer."Installation was pretty easy, I just plugged in light and power adapter and the dimmer immediately entered pairing mode (you can see the light flashing). Make sure you select the right driver otherwise it won't work.Using the generic driver won't let you control both outputs separately (unknown if you can do this with the tuya app as I don't have a tuya hub).I took one star away because this is the same dimmer/LED controller other companies/brands are selling for half the price (same box, device, and instructions).

Easy to connect w/ LED & pair with Home Assistant
I've ordered 2 of these for my stairwell LEDs and about to order two more now for another project. I don't have any complaints other than the price. It would be nice if a power supply could be bundled for a discount.

Buggy
Zigbee 3.0 RGBWW controller with HubitatThe first one I received, kept disconnecting from Zigbee after 10 seconds. Then it completely died.I got a replacement, which won't pair with the connect/set button, it just doesn't enter pairing mode. It did enter pairing mode when the power was cut off for 5 mins, it powered on and went straight into pairing mode without me pressing the button. But it's controls are also buggy. It's capable of 1% brightness, but if you then try and turn it off whilst at 1% it won't. Then, if you turn the brightness up, it starts to climb in brightness and then turns off! Then, turn it back on...it flashes on then turns itself off immediately. You have to send another brightness level command in order to get it to turn on.These have just been too much trouble for me, the buggy firmware needs sorting.

Hubitat integration using Hue Hub flawless
I preferred the screw-in terminals of the BTF-Lighting CO5Z over the GLEDOPTO CO5Z controllers. It connects immediately to my Hue hub attached to my Hubitat C8. The direct integration using the built-in Hubitat generic Zigbee device driver didn't work as well as going through the Hue hub first. The Hubitat driver can't seem to handle the RGB+CCT functions well. The Hue integration drivers work much better on Hubitat for this device.

Customer service helpful
I bought this for my boat to light up cuddy cabin and interior pockets. I bought the IP65 60LED 5 wire strips, bought the upgraded clips, soldered wires and it lights up great. It's important to understand how you plan to operate the lights, be that Bluetooth, Wifi, or remote control and purchase the correct model.

RGBW mode does not work
RGB mode (red light) works fine with both strips but RGBW mode (green light) does not.I am using BTF's RGBW RGB+Cool White LEDs with this controller and I've also done a sanity check with some old RGB LEDs I had left over from another project. I'm using Home Assistant and a ZigBee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus to instruct the controller. In RGBW mode, aside from on/off and brightness, controlling the strip doesn't work. It just lights up a slightly green colour. Only the colour temperature setting seems to have an effect but it doesn't match. I've triple checked the wiring with the diagrams from the manual.
