Routing for Beginners

I bought this particular book to get to know the router and the capabilities of what you can actually achieve with one.It's set out in a way of more of a product catalogue rather that a work book. It shows you the most common bit you can use but not how they are applied to a job or how the finish will look, the setting up of router bits and tips on how to do basic jobs would have been handy.As this book is amid at the beginner it is more for beginners that are looking to buy a router, router table ( or make one but only in miniscule detail) or bits..A tad disappointing

Yes Its OK. Covers everything from the beginning of routing, and has a few projects at the end. good pictures of various cutters to show what is on offer. safety points well covered. Explanations somewhat difficult to follow in places, but dial up the required topic on U Tube, and its all there. many photos throughout, but it can be difficult to see what is actually going on, hence the U Tube suggestion.

Easy to read and assimilate, that's why it was purchased. Great help to a DIYer

the book is full of useful information and things you need to know if your a beginner as well as be well written and easy to understand

arrived when said it would - Theres alot more update information in this one and have given my earlier copy to my grandson.
