Confronting
I found this read to be confronting but informative. My children are now grown and on the way to having their own families. This book made me look at how I parented my children. It makes you reflect on your own upbringing and how that can impact on how you parent. There are strategies to parent better. The book also details ways to recognise anger triggers and ways to work through them. This book is must read for any caregiver.

Explains a lot!
This book really opened my eyes to my own childhood and made me understand myself and my family better. I can't say I've been able to implement anything as we are expecting our first baby. However, I would highly recommend this to any parent wanting to work thorough their issues that will definitely have an impact on their kids. Great book!

Informative, Actionable and invaluable asset for ALL parents
Although I don't have anger issues, per se, in my house raising my child-- I did want a check in. And this book was invaluable. Helps to identify many aspects of raising children, how I as a parent act and react (or don't) and also was insightful about the parents I see around me. Actionable steps that I found very valuable. A Good read and highly recommended.
