Fall asleep and stay asleep. Be aware if you are age 60+
My doctor recommended a similar product for sleep, and I bought this to compare. It has a slightly different ingredient, more natural, and a 1 mg more of melatonin. It really works. (Unfortunately, I found that because I am in my 60's I have a reaction to large amounts of melatonin, and read that about 50% of people my age are. But that is not the fault of the product.) My wife is now using it and falls asleep easily and stays asleep. She has no drowsiness the next day.

Not sure if taking melatonin + Valerian + 5-HTP together isn't a better choice...
I tried these a few years ago to get to sleep in my college dorm that had a lot of people coming and going, and using loud media across almost all hours of any day of the week. I think the product has changed- they don't taste quite as richly-sweet as they were then, and they do not seem to take effect as quickly or as powerfully. That's why they only got a 3-star rating. I still purchase and use these somewhat regularly, as they do not seem to make me as groggy in the morning as combining separate products with melatonin and Valerian. I take one of the SleepMD caplets about 30-min to an hour after taking 200-400mg of 5-HTP, which I find helps progressively make me ready for sleep (plus it raises serotonin for the next day!). The two seem to work well together (though I should probably suggest consulting a medical professional before trying this combination- some folks are prone to issues with things that alter serotonin levels).I rather liked the taste they left in my mouth while falling asleep, so I wish they hadn't changed the product. I would recommend these to anyone who would like to improve the restfulness of their sleep, want to fall asleep a bit faster, and stay asleep; at least to give it a try.

Cannot sleep without it
I've used Sleep MD for years. It's difficult to find in the stores now. I am different in that I take a few medications to help me sleep. No matter what I have prescription, Sleep MD helps me stay asleep. It keeps me from waking every 1-2 hours. Just a note: the melatonin contained can make your dreams more vivid. that usually goes away within a few nights. I could not sleep without it!

Sleep at last!
This product really works for me! I wake up feeling great! They really help me sleep all thru the night, and if my dog wakes me up, no problem I can wake up and go right back to sleep. I've tried other brands that have a lot of side effects, none whatsoever with these!! Plus I feel these are safer to take since it has all natural ingredients.

Effective for me
Makes me drowsy and helps me stay asleep through the night. I've tried several other things to promote sleep and none worked on me. If you have trouble sleeping and sleep aids don't seem to help I suggest trying this one. It's worth a shot.

WOW all I Can Say is WOW. I used to take the highest strength of Lunesta and with no health insurance was close to $209 for 30 pills. My girl got this for me to try since I couldn't find my script, and wow I am saving at least $200 a month NOW!!! Thanks SLeep MD I am a happy sleeper now!Seriously give this a try, sure it won't work for everyone but if you are spending a ton on sleep rx, why not give this a try. It is now in my subscribe n save with amazon so I never run out. Every month BAM its here and BAM I sleep like a baby in happyville!!!!THANK YOU!!!!

No harsh side effects!!!!
My aunt takes this. She has memory issues andthinks she doesn’t sleep even tho she does. These allow her to feel as though she is taking something that helps her sleep without any harsh side effects. They do help calm her mind so she can fall asleep!

Nice For Starters
If you have trouble sleeping and you haven't taken anti-anxiety medication or sleeping pills before, then I highly recommend this. Even if you've taken some of the aforementioned pills before, this can still work as long as you've taken the other medication sporadically and not on a regular basis. Also, this pills help in getting you some sleep only if used once in a while. Use them every night and after the second or third night you might find that this item is no longer effective.
