Very dull
I've always been a big Fred Bear fan and own several Bear archery products but these thing came more then dull I've had butter knives with a better edge. The steel is hard I spent several hours trying to get an edge on these things. So I'm sure it's high quality steel but I wish they came with an edge.

Adult Broadheads for Adult Arrows!
These are awesome! Multiple inserts to adjust the broadheads weight from 150, 200, 250 grains!Solid construction! Fairly sharp out of the package, but be ready to stone them up from about 600 grit to about 1500 grit. A little Strop work will polish them up nicely! Durable points, well made all around. And they spin dead on the money. These will be serial killers for sure. Screw these into a 100 grain insert, in any modern carbon arrow shaft and you'll have a bone splitting recipe. Truly solid components! I will definitely be buying more of these!

Caveat emptor!!! Metal Injected Molded Steel...made on the cheap and sold for high!
This was from a hit on the center of a cedar fence board. Cedar is very very soft and large porous grain wood. Never broke any 2 blade broadhead before ever in 40 yrs of shooting(have bent or curled some tips). Called Bear, talked with a guy who assured me no problem, just go online and fill out the email and send pictures. So I did and their response was to email me back to scam me and deflect. Saying it was my fault. That wood was a hard surface like rocks...(lame response and they know it.. cedar fence board is not rocks!!) I wonder what would have happened if you hit bone on a deer or bear? Anyways I am a member of 3 large Traditional Archery web/groups.. I did not drag Bear company in the mud here but I just put this picture up and told them this damage was from a cedar board. Archers from all over the world had nothing nice to say about the VWS head after that. These are made in China on the cheap and sold high to us here in the states. Bear once upon a time was solid and respected company. I own several of their vintage bows but I would not even buy a so much as a string from them now based on how they handle this circumstance. I guess they would rather lose future sales than earn and stand behind the current ones! (Picture is so obvious there had to be a void inside the metal for it to snap like this.........its real grainy and it did when withdrawing the arrow, not on impact.) Caveat emptor
