Much better than expected
This book is awesome for what I need, easy to read with larger print and lines spaced so you can't lose your place. I've been working with a physical therapist and this book adds a lot of similar exercises that include pretty good illustrations and simple but easy you understand directions. It also has a 30 day exercise schedule for a good exercise routine. I hope it works as good for you as the help I've gotten from it

Good exercises _Organizes by types of exercise. (NOT easiest to most difficult)
I decided to start at the beginning with the 1st exercise. It seemed a little difficult & took more than 5 minutes. I proceeded to exercises 2 & 3. Similar problem. I examined the entire book and found an exercise guide in the BACK of the book. Follow the guide. It selects the easiest exercise in each "category" to use. This makes it easier to move through the different types of exercise and also begin with the preferred exercises for that day. The illustrations and directions are very clear. I recommend this book.

A very useful program of exercises for balance.
As a frequent faller, I find these exercise's vey helpful. After 11 years of ballet and jazz class when I was in school, I had extremely good balance while I was employed in the medical field. I was on my feet all the time, lifting and moving heavy patients and work-related items. Once I stopped working and became less physically active I began to loose my balance without knowing why. In the space of 4 years I managed to fracture my hip, multiple ribs, multiple vertebrae, my pelvis (don't do it - VERY painful) and my foot. This book is a godsend for me. I feel my balance has become much better, I'm more aware of my surroundings and I haven't fallen in over a year. It gives me increased confidence, which I think is half the battle. When you start to fear falling you don't move around as much and it makes the situation worse.I recommend this book to anyone, not just older people. Younger people who don't lead an active lifestyle would also benefit from it. It's well worth it - it costs less than a doctors office visit or a trip to the Emergency Room and is definitely less painful!.Linneaann

Maybe not exactly for seniors
Bought this book for my 79 year old Mom to help her with stability to help her not fall as much. She would only be able to do a small handful of the exercises in this book. If you're a senior with good flexibility and can move around pretty good, then this book might be a good option for you. Just seems a bit too difficult for folks that have a harder time moving around or laying down on the floor.

This booklet is geared for seniors.
The book has large print and easy pictures to guide you through the exercises. I like the introduction and explanation as to why we loose our balance and how to regain it back. The only downer is the 5 minute exercises are scattered through out the book. I would prefer them in a sequence as you work through the 30 days.

Very easy to follow
I liked that each exercise had one or two graphics to explain how to do each step. One thing I would have liked would be having the step by step instructions on the same page as the name and photo of the exercise. I liked that one could select a handful of exercises to do and then the next time select other ones. Overall it's quite a nice book on the topic for seniors.
