Makes a great baritone
I bought this a while ago to convert to a baritone as I didn't want a longer scale length for portability and my finger size. It's a typical Ibanez neck which it was set up well on arrival and had a flawless finish. After testing it for a while to check how it played, I then replaced the strings with the bottom 6 of a heavy 7 string set and tuned it five semitones down. After setting intonation, it is now my go-to guitar! As a standard guitar it was a great player with a good sound, excellent for the price, but as a baritone it plays really well, with that heavy tone and dark sound!

A Perfect Place to Start..
As a professional musician, academic, and lover of music for 50 years,I would recommend learning an instrument to anyone. If it's guitar,as a starter,or as a pro,I recommend Ibanez as the benchmark of instrument quality and expertise throughout their vast array of options. This lead guitar is a wonderful place to start. It also represents a gr8 improver diversity, and or Pro instrument.Beautiful Quilted Art top, humbuckers either side of a single,5 way switch, slim satin backed NZ pine neck/ fretboard...what's not to like?...compact enough for smaller hands, and smooth in pro terms.Tuners are great, and the tone is punchy, more rock than classical, for which I recommend the Art range..but for RG style at a modest price, this is the best around.Hope your music proves as rewarding to you,as it has been to myself...highly recommended

Well worth the cost
Been playing nearly 40 years so didn’t expect muchHow wrong I wasFor £200 you will not get more guitar brand newThis axe is immensely playable with a nice low action slimline neck and very good intonation. There is scope for improvement with the above but that is about personal preference and is within the scope of a learner with supervision and guidanceRosewood on maple is always a winning combo so this well contoured neck is lovely to hold and caress.Love the twin humbuckers and single coil but sound is a bit muted by their setup. Again this is customisableOverall sound quality is really down to your choice of amp so all good thereSolid body weighty and comfortable to hold sitting or standing.Very playable instrument. The guitar comes alive when a chord is struck. The whole thing vibrates and feels so well made: I cannot believe the high standard of this guitar for the cost. This is a bargain and I would strongly urge any budding learner or more experienced player to seriously look at this guitarIt’s not a high end instrument. Not for this price and it’s never going to be but for the cost is awesomePlayability 10Comfort 10Ease of use 10Appearance 10Weight 10Dimensions 10Size good for adult or average size teenagerComparable to much more expensive instruments. It’s always going to be hit or miss buying a guitar online without playing it first. This one is definitely a hit.I think it’s fair to say this guitar is worth more than the cost and will be a welcome addition to most players collectionsI thoroughly recommend you give this one a chance. I don’t think you will regret it. You will more than get your moneys worth

Great beginner guitar
I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to using a guitar, which plenty of practice and study will sort out. However, I have to say that this is a lovely guitar and well worth the money. The guitar was just about in tune when I got it and just had to make the odd tweaks (I tune it using Guitar Rig 6 by Native Instruments). Hooked up to my Scarlett 2i2 interface, it sounds warm and lush, a great guitar to get things started. Not sure if it's my imagination, but I did have a fender copy (can't remember the manufacturer name), but I had trouble as the strings seemed a bit close together, this one however seems to be spaced lovely, and feels easier to get the right strings etc.I don't think you could go wrong with this guitar, great value for money.

Can't put this Guitar down..
Out of the box this was set up and tuned in.. (more than you can expect from most guitars of this price range.) The sound is great, its fantastic value for money. Having tried several 'High end' guitars just before I got this, I was very impressed as it plays better than guitars 3 times the price.. for me, this is a keeper, I haven't touched my other guitars since this arrived a few weeks ago, it just plays so well. The sound is clear and precise, the weight is right, no fret sprouts, the finish is excellent and everything is as it should be. The one point I would make is about the fretboard, this is a dry fretboard, and perhaps should have been oiled first, but I'll do that when I change the strings, but for the money, you can't go wrong..

A Stunning Guitar, worth every penny.
This guitar is incredible for the money, tuned pefectly out of the box, the tremelo is just right and works really well, not too stiff or loose, the finish is superb and the tone is great. It is a very well made and sensitive instrument with a great shape for learning.Oh and it looks fantastic.Ordered yesterday delivered today, well packaged. Thanks Amazon, I'm a very happy customer.

Great guitars.
I bought this for my son who apparently loves it. I’m a musician myself so I won’t buy tatt. Ibanez are a great name and their guitars always look the bomb. I know gio are the lower end but they still look and sound great. Might get one of these for myself.

Solid beginner's guitar
Having only started to learn how to play guitar, I opted for this left hand model Ibanez. I find it to be an affordable model for the beginning player, fair sound, straightforward to learn how to play.
