I love it!!
My hair is very long and thin, and i have the problem that my hair is very dry and brittle on the tips, but the hair on the roots gets oily relatively quickly. The second thin is, that I used so far a cheap plastic brush as I never thought that much about that also the brush could be a problem for hair loss and breakage. I came across this brush as I read an article about using the right brush for your hair and thought 'let's read some reviews'. Many people wrote that it totally changed their way of treating their hair and that they where super happy - especially as it helps to balance out these oily/ dry areas. So I thought, let's give it a try. I compared a few brushes on Amazon and chose this one, as I personally prefer this shape than the square ones. And the bamboo handle is very light and robust, which also helps when you need to carry around your brush in a suitcase or jsut for usage. As the brush arrived I was impressed by its packing. It is beautifully made. First I was a bit sceptical if it will really works for my hair, but since i did the first stroke with the brush, I am totally addicted to it. First I noticed, that it is much more sensitive to your skin, than my plastic brush, but rigid enough to feel how it massages the skin. It felt soo good, that I started to brush my hair not just in the morning but also in the afternoon or evening. The combination of boar bristles and the longer plastic bristles is perfect! As the longer bristles help to run through your hair and detangle longer strands, without scratching the skin, as they are thin and flexible enough to bend away.. the brush doesn't get stuck and i don't have this awful situation anymore as I had my plastic brush, where you end up with knots and then rip out some hair in the end.. the plastic brush is now in the bin. :-D This brush is for sure the best purchase I did in the last time!! I am mega happy!

A dream for long hair!
If you have long hair, look no further for the perfect brush!I’m sure you have read by now how it distributes the natural oils from root to tip but here’s a bit of extra, personal info: I have tried natural bristle brushes before but this one is the best ever. Unlike the bristle brushes I have used before, that just seemed to skim the surface of my hair, this one gets though even the thickest hair, from root to tip. The longer, plastic bristles penetrate the hair right through to the scalp & this allows the shorter, natural bristles work their magic!100 strokes, just like grandma used to do! I do 50 strokes with my head upside-down, followed by 50 strokes the right way up. It sounds like a chore it takes about 5 minutes... 5 very enjoyable minutes!... & if you can persuade someone else to do it for you, you really are on to a winner!!!Afterwards, my hair feels silky soft & my scalp feels clean & refreshed. Basically, it feels like using dry shampoo in-between washes but so much better!Long hair is always a faff to wash & dry but this brush helps to make your hair feel fresh & clean for an extra day or two between washes.Personally, I am thrilled with this brush & highly recommend it.

Not satisfied
I've had this brush for a year. When I initially purchased it I was hoping for an item that would last me a long time. I was pleased at first, however I soon found that the brush collects dust incredibly quickly. The dust would concentrate around the bristle bundles, near the surface of the brush, making it nearly impossible to clean, even with the special cleaning tool. Over time, any attempts at deep cleaning the brush (trying to pick out the dust with my hands or more vigorous cleaning with the tool) just resulted in whole bunches of bristles being pulled out.Side note, and not much to do with the brush, but maybe it will help somebody - I found out that for my wavy/curly hair, boar bristle brushing is not recommended (as is any form of dry brushing) as it leads to hair breakage! Explains why my hair became a growing mess after I started using this brush :P.The comb that came with it turned out to be extremely useful though. Well made, it has kept its shape and strength despite only being used on wet hair.

Pretty darn good
Ever since I was a kid, my mum will talk you about the battles we had to brush my hair. I have always hated brushing my hair. Even now as an adult I brush my hair twice a week. That is until I stopped using regular shampoo and so my hair started over producing natural oils while it adjusted, and so I needed a hair brush that would help distribute these oils evenly. So I bought this hair brush and it does a fairly decent job at balancing the oils out across my hair. Does make my hair a tincy bit static, but honestly my hair is so soft and I realized now why people like brushing hair and that my hair isn't actually as tangly as i always assumed it was!

Good quality brush but I can't escape the static!
Good quality brush, well packaged and feels nice to use. I only received it a day ago so can't really comment on long-term use but it does seem to glide through my hair really well and feels a lot gentler than my old paddle brush. I always experience static with natural bristle brushes and this is no exception, I thought that I was going to produce enough static to start a thunderstorm! As I am a kind and giving person I would like to share this tip for eradicating static after brushing: Place your palms together and breathe into them as though you're trying to warm your hands on a cold day, then simply smooth your hands over your hair and Hey Presto, no static :)

Pleasantly surprised!
I was actually very sceptical about this thinking another product promising miracles... but this is actually a very good brush. My hair is pretty dry after years of colouring and treating and it is prone to snapping (especially at the front). I have been trying to grow it all to one length for literally years. Whilst it doesn’t stop snapping all together it honestly does reduce it a LOT! And the wooden comb is great for detangling wet hair, when it is most prone to snapping. Also, I have read many review for boar bristle brushes that claim they have an overpowering and unpleasant smell but I didn’t really find it with this one.I have recommended this to friends and would recommend it to anyone!
