Book in very good condition

My son has been using this textbook as it was considered by his teachers to purchase one to make it easier for him for the new upcoming GCSE he said he finds it easy to use and it summarises information in such detail with in small paragraphs making it easy for him to memorise. It is an amazing book and i would recommend buying it for your children who are doing the new GCSE,

bought for my daughter she enjoys it easy to use and straight forward. Was very helpful during lockdown.

I brought all three books in the series Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Each book has lovely illustration and some probing Nuffield type questions. It is suitable for the teacher led, and for those among them who want to ensure student answer the question as opposed to their parents. This book is suitable for revision with other resources. Not suitable for distance learning, self-study unless for the purposes of revision and student has a lot of time on their hands. That said why did I purchase the series it was because I wanted to improved the foundation and build on principles as opposed to being over reliance on memory. For the motivated student I recommend accessing syllabus doing passed papers and purchasing CGP series and utilising your best resource your teacher if you have one. I also recommend reading through selected text book atleast three to four times before main exams.It is important to get the right textbook, that the one that most reflects the syllabus directives clearly, and makes it easier to answer past papers alas this book and series don't for me but might for you. If this is your schools text book I recommend you purchase an additional Edexcel Biology etc or take out one from library.

My daughter needed this book along side two other books. It’s helped her so much preparing for her GCSEs.
