Coming Unsewn - 6 Month Usage Update
The over shoulder strap is coming unsewn after 2 months. Not recommended if you have a heavy laptop as I do. It will not stand the weight and is uncomfortable. Otherwise, well organized and a handsome unit. After using unit for about 6 months I am happy with the functionality of the bag. My earlier concerns about the strap remain un changed. I substituted the stock strap with an Optech swivel strap, wide version, and this has made a world of difference, making the case comfortable to carry even when toting my heavy 16 inch laptop and other things. The black Optech strap complements the bag well both functionally and aesthetically. I really like the pouch on the side of the bag. I slide the Belroy pen holder in there, and it keeps the bag free of the clutter of wandering pens - it is simple to slide the pen pouch out and in. The bag has held up well to daily use. The issue with unseeing has not gotten worse, I'll probably restitch it myself with some waxed twine. The bag is best suited to carrying small folders of documents, not thick files of more than a few inches. The internal stretchy, full width zippered pouch is a good place to store sunglasses, ear buds and such, but I wish there were some stretchy inner small pockets to store things like camera batteries, SD cards, and other small things. As it stands, once one unzips the long pouch, everything has a tendency to fall out. Having a system to put things in the same place in the internal and external large pouches with solid colored faces, sized for a field notebook, phone and similar items is a must. The pouches are quite deep and one has to fish around from the top and find things by feel. I am very pleased with the bag, and think it will last for a good period of time. The down star is for the strap system and the "finding things" issues. I am not one for putting things in the same place, so the latter problem is in part a personal issue.

Nice bag, terrible strap design
Bought this bag to replace another laptop bag I’ve had for 5 years. I wanted something larger that could also attach to my luggage handle when traveling. It’s a nice looking bag - solid construction and materials - but the strap design is terrible. Instead of anchoring to the center of the left and right sides of the bag, the strap attaches to two loops on the back of the bag. When you’re wearing it over one shoulder and not as a sling, it completely tilts and rubs against your hip or leg in a very uncomfortable way. Since it’s outside of the return window, I am going to have to take it somewhere to get it modified so I can attach the strap in a different spot. This is just such an obvious design flaw it’s kind of shocking, especially for such an expensive bag.

Design
Very well designed. Great compartment for storing laptops, sunglasses, keys, wire, iPhone , food containers without looking bulky.

Great Bag
Great bag, organization is easy, and can fit a surprising amount in it for its size.

Just ok...
Update: After using this bag for a few weeks, I have decided to add an additional star. It's more functional than I initially thought. It took some rearranging and breaking in to find the right way to store my stuff. The material is nicer than my first impressions indicated. I still feel that some of the pockets are too tight or lack organization options and the strap is just too narrow.Initial review:I'm raiting this based on my first impressions have just received this today and loading with everything that was previously in my ebag backpack. Time will tell and I will update accordingly.First off I have to say that it seems smaller than 20L as advertised. Some of the pockets are just too tight to make full use of. There is a lack of organizational options in my opinion. With only one pocket having organization, you'll be digging for stuff. The material is nice enough. However, for the price I would like to see something more premium. The shoulder strap is concerning because it is very thin. I'm interested to see how this holds up to daily use.I think that maybe at half the pro this would be a great buy. For almost $200, I'm not super impressed. We'll see.
